So, how do I play in VR? I tried running SteamVR along with it as that is what the game supports for VR, SteamVR chooses to not recognize the game in question, Heat, and on my Quest 2 it doesn't pull the game up like it would for most games like normal and usual. I really don't know what I am doing wrong.

P.S. ; I'm using the cracked version uploaded from here. If someone needed to know, though.

hmm did you try the alternate port? If not then there is probably something wrong with the crack or you installed game assembly wrong. There are a bunch of crack methods but it already comes pre cracked so that's probably not the issue.

I think maybe it's because you're not running SteamVR through OculusHome (If you're using Oculus Air/Link)
It's possible that Steam does not perceive properly the controllers and headset if you start the SteamVr directly.
In this case it automatically uses a projecting view in vr


Try like this:
Add the Heat to the playlist (From 1-5)

Then set the Heat game to appear in the VR list ("right mouse click" to steps 6 and left click to steps 7)
And then choose to include Heat to the VR library. (Steps 8)

Then start the OculusHome (It is important that the Steam program is running
BUT don't run VR, just be logged into steam)

Then connect to the pc with headset by Air/Link and run the SteamVR from the Apps list.:

Once SteamVR Home has loaded you can choose the Heat from the library

Alternative take, ideas that are popular here are probably popular elsewhere. Like the discord for the game, meaning the same suggestions could exist in both places and it's more likely the suggestions come from the discord of patrons.

well obviously they're going to pay more attention to the people giving them money, but they know about this thread and i'd be willing to bet it still gets read by them occasionally if for no other reason than to just have a bigger sample size to pull suggestions, complaints, and bug reports from. i plan on actually contributing to their patreon as soon as my financial situation is more stable, probably at the cheapest tier so i can read all the posts/patch notes and have more direct communication with the devs, being able to give proper bug reports and ask questions instead of hoping they read it here would be nice lol.

There are already people coming in here with zero basic computer knowledge asking how to unpack an archive and replace a file, now we're gonna have people asking for mod support for things downloaded from god knows where or thinking you can just drag and drop random models in the game and expect them to work

Tried using an irl lovense toy, didnt work, im connecting it through the lovense connect app and with the help of Initface desktop, the server is on but the Heat game doesnt connect as a client, lovense app is enabled on initface settings, any help?

ya, stop using the lovense and intiface app. this game doesn't require it and just connects through normal bluetooth (requires bluetooth dongle and not lovense dongle)
