Yeah it's a bug with the update. You have to wait for the character amount slider to appear before you spawn her in. then it will work fine

The 0.5.5.0 version has been posted on kemono.party, my cracked authentication token doesnt seem to work and the game wont let me play without having a patreon. Has anyone encountered this issue aswell?

alright guys i dont know if its my pc but it only happens with this game. The game will start fine then 10-15 seconds in itll freeze on my vr but be perfectly fine on my pc like itll move n shit but on my vr it is totally frozen how do i fix this. Im using oculus quest 2 with virtual desktop

Are you using Airlink or regular (cable) link?
When using air link, I noticed that when I set the bitrate (10mbps - 200mbps) too high, it gives me like 2-3fps when the connection can't sustain, for instance, 200mbps. So I dialed it down to 180mbps, and now it's totally fine.
When using a cable, make sure it's connected to usb3.2 port. Otherwise try turning down graphics settings in Oculus app
I use virtual desktop 2 so im guessing air link? and my settings work well as far as i know heat is the only game that this happens with

It is tab, but the last few updates has been kinda buggy for me, sometimes the game ignores certain inputs and I have to restart.

So I might just hold off on Heat till it's next update cuz this update is buggy/laggy as hell. I know it ain't my PC cuz its too damn expensive for it to be the case lol. There needs an update that fixes the initial opening lag spike and Garrets skin options freezing the app. Plus the opening room needs to be the bedroom again.
Using a program (Called DnSpy), you can look into the files for the game, as well as edit them.
One of these files (HeatSDK.Core.dll) contains a variable called "authenticated"
If you aren't logged in with Patreon, then this variable will be "false" & you will be asked to authenticate before you can play
With DnSpy, you can change the variable to "true" which will bypass the authentication screen.
This is the basic idea behind, if you were planning on cracking the files yourself in the future, I can go into more detail (finding the variable can be a pain if you don't know where to look in the .dll) but if you don't feel like going through the trouble, myself & several others on the forums upload the cracked files usually within a day of the leak.
Most games have a far more sophisticated anti-cracking system, but I don't think Edef is too big on thwarting pirates, otherwise this would've been improved a while ago (I remember reading an interview with him where he mentioned that he saw no point in focusing on stopping piracy, as it is basically unavoidable)
P.S. I found the interview, here's the quote on piracy "Piracy is an inevitability that doesn’t really bother me. I hope that people who pirate the game support the Patreon if they enjoy it. If they’re in a region where they can’t get the game legally, then they absolutely should pirate it guilt-free."

I tried to crack according to your tips, but I still get authentication prompts; I find cracked v0-5-4-2 have an `HeatSDK.Core - Copy.dll` , and cracked file have 7KB smaller, So I think crack isn't such easy right?
Can you provide a more detailed tutorial, or already cracked files? That will be very helpful, thx.
