i know its the test build, and idk if the devs still occasionally read this thread but there are some glaring issues with this, its honestly not much easier to get them to do autofellatio than it was before it was officially a thing. short list of issues ive got:

1. the amount of flexibility the characters have is wildly inconsistent. biggest issue is more than half of them have basically no neck flexibility. you can move their heads around but its one point of articulation at the base of the skull and nothing else till you get to the waist. only exceptions are atlas, renee, vertex, and astera presumably because they have long necks. you'd expect emmy and hera to be comparable cause they're lizards/dragons or w/e but nope. pretty much makes it so only the equines and synths are the only ones that can actually autofellate.
2. the blowjob/autofellatio animation when it does work tends to get pretty jittery and with weird animation resets/interrupts that make it not very fun to look at
3. when you try to get most of the characters to self suck their dick tends to clip into their chest and doesnt align properly with their mouths, mainly because of the lack of neck flexibility but even when you try to position it carefully the head tilts downward, dick in chest and jaw clipping into neck.
4. self suck space program / Self Suck Slide. seems to happen more with hip thrust enabled but with several characters they'll zip off into the great beyond for no discernable reason
5. atlas moreso than renee has an issue with his chest deforming weirdly and his neck arching back and in on itself when orgasming, same thing when giving blowjobs/licking. something fucky there
6. bending at the waist itself maybe needs more points of articulation, some characters its not so bad but others like reilly its super super awkward looking, like hard right angle in the middle of the abdomen awkward.

those are the big ones that pertain specifically to autofellatio. the other much more glaring issue i need to do more testing on to make sure its not an issue with virtual desktop or my wireless streaming but there are insane lag spikes every time i open the menu, and if you close the menu with the menu button, but not when you close it by opening the radial menus. i'm not just talking some dropped frames, but anything from 4-5 seconds to upwards of twenty seconds of fade to steamVR application hang level lag spikes sometimes.

Did anyone here try Character Modding ? I'm having errors in the modding kit after clicking "Set Up Character" in the Mod_Char Reference Container script.

The errors are "MissingReferenceException: The object of type 'Transform' has been destroyed but you are still trying to access it" and "The variable _orificeBone of OrificeCast has not been assigned" after double clicking the prefab made by setting up the character.

Both those errors come from a script in HeatSDK.Core.dll, so I don't know if I should wait for the modding kit to be updated or if I can just ignore those errors. I'm using the modding kit v9.5.1 with DLLs from Heat v0.7.2.1.

Interestingly, there was apparently a fully-modeled Mal0 in the Halloween update of years past (not playable though, just animated for a jumpscare or something). Someone is working on a character mod in the Discord though, but because they're importing an existing model the process is taking a bit. Last I saw, they were trying to sort out some animation stuff with the rigging.

Modding Kit V9.5.1 requires 0.7.0.1 dlls per the modding guide. It is highly recommended that you get access to the Discord before attempting a character mod to be able to ask the devs questions. Nobody has successfully finished a fully functional character mod.

Actually, from the modding guide it is stated "Anthro Heat V0.7.0.2 or higher. ***If you are making a character mod, do not use a higher version!***". So I completely restarted a new project using the 0.7.0.2 DLLs this time, but it doesn't solve the problem. So maybe I'm using a wrong link to access the guide, I'll try with the DLLs from 0.7.0.1 anyway just to see.
