What is the max number of mods you can have?

I've extracted all the subfolders from a modpack that has over 30+ skins, where my mod log in-game says there's somewhere around 50 mods or so. I've made sure its in the proper folder order with (Mods -> MODNAME -> Windows folder ), I did this by typing *in the search bar of the modpack and selecting only the subfolders. (If you extract the mods directly it'll be more like Mods -> MODNAME -> MODNAME -> Windows folder )

Everything looks to be proper, but when I start the game, it no longer shows even the location mods. It will attempt to load a mod, right now its on 45/45 after i pruned some mods but after a while it just says check for error logs. This means, there's some sort of limit right before it breaks?

I've never heard of this issue with mod numbers, but I have seen this behavior if you have an outdated mod loaded. Sometimes the game will get stuck trying to load something it can't and never progress. Some of the location mods are pretty big, so make sure it's actually locking up or erroring and not just taking awhile.

for reference. A couple of people have said they wanted to do that, but even the guy who runs their modding internally dropped his project for a custom character model. Seems like the best we can do is add geometry onto the models; changing rigging or bones is very difficult.

I haven't seen the devs comment on that, so I wouldn't hold your breath. Would be nice though.

+1 to wouldnt hold your breath. ive got a 5800x, 32gb of ram, and a 3080 and the game still doesnt run that good. they would have to do a TON of optimizing and lower it to potato quality gfx to get it running natively on quest 2/3 lol.

+1 to wouldnt hold your breath. ive got a 5800x, 32gb of ram, and a 3080 and the game still doesnt run that good. they would have to do a TON of optimizing and lower it to potato quality gfx to get it running natively on quest 2/3 lol.

The game is actually bottle necking. If you turn on performance graphs you can see that the game is literally throttling it's frames until you open a steamvr overlay which also happens to freeze the game I can get the exact same fps when I supersample vs running it at extremely low resolution scale as well. This and many vr games have this issue that happen to be older.

For some reason, whenever I enter the game, I have 30 seconds before it transitions to SteamVR Home. I game is playing in the background, but I'm trapped on SteamVR. How do I get out of there and back to the game?

I usually just click the EXE file in the folder after downloading the game and that would be it. SteamVR doesn't appear until after I exit the game.

I've also tried opening SteamVR first to see if that would fix the issue, but it would do the same thing.

I can't understand why they added a double dildo for like 4 scenes when it's not an actual toy. Now that I read this again, I imagine it being a coding nightmare. Something to do with both ends being fuckable and there not being a base for possessing, idk

Still having problems with SteamVR Home popping up within the first 30 seconds of the game. This is the only VR game that does this to me and the only way to get around it is by opening a second HEAT game so I have two games running at once.

I have a Quest 2. I've never had this problem before.

I get in by going to my headset and starting up the link (I get brought to the white area, not Steam Home) and then I launch HeatVR. It transitions immediately
