The best sex cultivation novel I have read is "Dual Cultivation" on Wuxiaworld.co, the amount of shit and cheese Chinese cultivation novels put out is to the point that even other Chinese web novel authors are ripping on some shitty cliché. It has become a fucking cycle of making a cliché, ripping on it, then that hot take becoming a cliché in itself.
This game should be full one cheese fest and basically have pretty much some archetypes present in cultivation novels. First arc basically, fucking his whole female group in the sect, then some tournament arc fucking, then some secret realm arc fucking. List goes on and on, I am still baffled by how some cultivation novels have 2000+ chapters at that point what the fuck do you even write about.

That's funny. I tried reading Dual Cultivation and couldn't really get into it.
That being said, I'm not a big fan of doing what others do (developer of Heavenly Peaks here), simply because they do it. I have my own thoughts on how to progress Heavenly Peaks, none of which involve sex fucking tournament archs.
As far as why they have 2000+ chapters, its because Web Novel has draconian contracts that can force you to write up to 2 million words in less than 1-2 years. If you sign and fail to comply, they will then replace you and you're no longer owner of your own work. It also states they can override you as the author and make you put themes you don't want into your book. Further more, if you complain you can be replaced with no way to fight back regarding that either.
I know this, because I looked at the contract. It really is legalized slavery for pennies.

Lately I haven't been able to get into them because Chinese protagonists tend to be ridiculous murder hobos like they're the player character in a GTA game. Even in the modern setings it also tends to be to fuedal with everything being all about the big families being able to do anything. As others have said, it's ridiculous when someone tries to kill the protagonist and then they scream about they shouldn't because such and such family will come after them even though they just tried to kill the protagonist not one second ago and there's no witnesses. It's like only they're allowed to kill and that's absurd.

Same way some of the milking games on this website have continued endlessly. Way easier to keep your supporters and keep money flowing in, not to mention way easier to write/develop than creating something entirely new, if you just never end your project. Most of those web novels with over 1k chapters are basically just cycles. New characters, same old shit.

While that may be true in some regards, for web novel its due to the contracts they make their "paid" writers sign.
The range on # of words they legally require you to write at that point is between 500,000 and 2 million in 2 years time.
For point of reference, that's about 2,000 1,000 word chapters, or -- ding ding ding, 1,000 2,000 word chapters.
Many times, the author isn't milking it, they have no choice -- the terms of the contract also signs away ALL their rights, even allowing them to be replaced if they complain or defy their editors or the company.
That's the real reason many of their popular fictions have so many chapters. Its the worst kind of content mill --practically slavery.

Webnovel originated in China. They are very predatory there in terms of contracts and financials, so the things I mentioned are just a portion of the red flags I saw in the contract personally.
They even do things like take other stories you may write while using any pen name that you use to write for them. It's really crazy. The second you sign it, they practically own you , your work and any money you make.
On top of that -- they lie about the amount you can make. That is the major factor for why people sign up. Not many writing services pay well or at all. In fact, they promise consistent payment which is something RR doesn't. with RR you're on your own and not many people actually make well from there. The "rock stars" do, ofc -- but it's not as easy as you might think for many reasons.
But I digress, in the case of WN:
They offered me an exclusive contract, which I refused in favor of one that seemed more beneficial. Aka the "free" agent type deal.
The deal was that they would offer 25% of all the coin my work made -- in reality, what they said was only partially true.
I got 25%, just 25% of HALF of everything my work made. This essentially means they would have kept the lion's share. I only picked up on this because they directed me to some sort of middleman.
I suspect they also do this with the exclusive deal, as there is absolutely no way to verify anything they say about the figures they produce for your payment.
Furthermore, they muzzle anyone from speaking about the amount of money they make, so there's no real way to verify that any of the authors on WN make 1,000 a month, or the 100,000 a year they claim is possible. In fact, they will ONLY pay you monthly after 3-6 months and if you have signed with them but fail to generate a certain amount.
It's all shady, dubious stuff with iron clad contracts heavily skewed in their favor.
