gahahahaha, i can't imagine if Storrs have strip club tho. It's too beautiful to be ruined by such clubs. Although, many memories have been made there, especially when i was hiking with some chicks back then "nature action" is the best

Here's something out of left field: I downloaded this a month ago, and I decided to launch it today after procrastinating a bunch. But I got some error that said that there were missing fonts in one of the folders. I went to check, and the font was indeed there but the .ttf file is corrupted... I can't even access the main menu or right-click ingame.

Since I never bothered to launch it before, I simply went ahead and tried to delete it. To my surprise, Windows asked me to grant Admin permissions to delete everything but that was useless; the only folder that is still standing is game\gui and its subfolders. I tried

• Shift+Del.
• cmd.
• Downloading a couple of tools to forcibly remove it.

Nothing worked. Then, I thought about re-downloading everything since I tried to use ScrappyMod when I first got it, but I decided to check on VirusTotal (bunkr and MEGA links, since those are the fastest and won't ask for captcha in JDownloader), and on both there was one flag for phishing. Now, I know that 1/96 usually means a false positive, and admittedly both flags come from different security vendors, but now I'm kinda second-guessing myself upon this.

Not necessarily asking for further advice, but I wonder if someone else had this issue, too... I will download everything again anyway -minus ScrappyMod- and see if that does it. Wouldn't be surprised if the game detects mods, even though it has been around for months.

There was most likely a file lock from trying to open the font file. Reboot and try again.

Those tools I downloaded were unlockers (EMCO UnlockIt and LockHunter), and I did reboot after I made the former delete the entire folder, but it was still there

Now, I did post it on General Troubleshooting as well so as not to go way too off-topic.

The Dev's took some time off to move at one point, put them back a month or so I think, maybe less. It happens. Some of the games around here have long Dev cycles but are usually worth the wait.

So, I've never done the path where you just sleep with Moonsong. You get a ton of extra background info on Evelyn if you don't tell Moonsong to stop. Her being a bit obsessive with the MC makes more sense now after that little talk in her room the first night back. Also adds a little more context to the scene of them as kids in Episode 8.

Chapter 3 Script is Complete

Whoo!

Man, it's been a long couple of months. But it's been productive, and this evening I finished writing the final scene of chapter 3. The full script for this chapter is just a bit over 33,000 words long. And Slockie is right behind me, with just one scene left to pose, and the animations for the scene just before that needing to finish rendering.

With that in mind, we'll be announcing the release dates for chapter 3 once we've got the build complete and it's off to the beta testing team. Won't be much longer now, so keep an eye open for it!

And thank you all for sticking around. I know it's been a long 5 months since our last release. We hope this one will have been worth the wait.
