Only about 1 in 10 trans women undergo bottom surgery, largely due to cost. We've made the conscious decision to have pre-op trans women in this game because it's more true to the experience of most trans women in the United States.

As for the vast majority of trans characters being MtF in adult games... Fucking duh. The vast majority of love interests in adult games are women. We didn't include a trans man as a romantic option because we didn't have any interest in our MC having an intimate relationship with another masculine person. That's gay af dude. (Literally.)

Not sure what set off this diatribe when you've barely exchanged ten sentences with a trans character in our game. The accusation that it's solely as a "fetish" is a little fucking early, don't you think? If you have problems with how trans women are portrayed in other games, maybe go bitch on their threads instead.

Until we get more with Kennedy, they are a fetish character. I get the defensiveness, no one likes seeing a character they developed degraded like that, since you want them to be able to stand on their own and not be "anal girl" or "angry stripper."

The problem, like Mav mentioned, is that it's done this way 90% of the time. Until proven otherwise, we as readers can either have blind faith, or assumptions this is just going to be like a trans character in any other VN. It's on the writer to deliver.

As far as Kennedy's popularity, I'd argue it's specifically the fact we've interacted so little. They are attractive, our interactions have been pleasant and there's a degree of mystery to it, leaving people wanting to know more about them. I compare it to how Tommy was handled in the first season of Power Rangers. Comes in with a huge arc, and then isn't on every episode so that kids would tune in everyday looking for him. The only thing Kennedy is missing is that huge initial arc.

I remember talking about this the other day but I guess my posts on it were deleted because I was arguing with someone at the time. It really depends on the individual club and I think some state laws come into play. For the club I went to, we couldn't bring a cooler, had to buy mixers and ice inside (at a premium, since they don't sell the booze, it's how they make their money) but otherwise they were cool with what my group brought. At least, I don't remember getting into any sort of discussion. I know I had a fifth of rum and no one said a word. Some buddies had beer, another had tequila, etc.

It also kinda sucked but eh, experiences I guess.
