Oh yeah, it's REALLY taking me out of it. It reads like an American attempting to imitate how English people talk. One example is skint - skint is northern slang for poor, you can be skint, but you can not BE a skint.actually I showed the dialogue to a brit friend and they told me it was more like someone trying to pretend they were british but having no real clue
It is honestly painful to read through, and for anyone who thinks this is actually how we talk, it is not. Like it REALLY isn't...
