Because some people don't like have Steam, don't like Steam, or don't have the disc space for Steam. There were multiple people in this thread who've stated as such, and it isn't a difficult concept. But if you want a long answer, I'll give you one. Enjoy.
I deleted Steam ages ago because it was a constant headache to keep it from auto-updating and breaking my games or spamming me, over censorship, because I hate DRM, and even because I want to put my games into the C/Games directory instead of the awkward place Steam wants to put them in. None of the problems were debilitating, but my quality of life improved considerably the moment I deleted it.
The fact that I have to download some stupid launcher from a store instead of just buying it from my browser and downloading it like normal is in itself convoluted nonsense that doesn't get any better just because many people are tolerating it. Maybe I just wasn't observant enough, but I didn't even find a way to pay money for a game without downloading the platform, meaning I can't even support the developer after playing the pirated game without participating with the system.
When I buy games I prefer the itch.io or private developer websites, although I can also tolerate GoG. Otherwise, it's sailing the high seas for me. And speaking of itch.io, while I can understand why it isn't universally adopted by developers, for an already free game I cannot find a good reason why the developer couldn't have put the game up there. I genuinely enjoyed it, and would've happily dropped $5. That said, even I was an avid Steam user, I would've still been happy to see it here because the f95zone is a good place for me to find and check out new stuff.
About a week and a half ago I found this game and wanted to play it, but couldn't find any rips on the internet. So thank god the contributors of this site put the game here, and I find it disheartening so many people are complaining over something that doesn't hurt them. Perhaps if the front page was flooded with free steam garbage they would've had a point.
there is a win glitch in the game every time I get a success the game just keeps me on the leavel no moveing, no advansment, no anything just him, the puzzle map, and what ever guards are still standing

I feel like this game has to be some kind of test run for a larger game using the same characters. There's so much obvious effort put into it for it to be so short, it really seems like a teaser of some kind.
Ah well, even if not, I'm still pleased with how much this game has really taken off with artists. Anything that gets more R34 of pale demon girls out there is A-OK by me.

This was pretty confusing to solve some of then but i had some fun and a few laughs. Glad i tried it out. Lucifer and Malina are my favorites, i like to imagine Lucifer got some nice legs. justice is just cool and i want to hang out with her.

There is a 32bit version. But I think you'd need someone on a 32bit system to get it from Steam, if you download the game on a 64bit system you just get the 64bit version. You will get less and less 32bit support though.

That's an odd reason for not wanting to use steam. If they don't have the space to spare for steam the computer is really not going to be very happy (swap file usage)
This is actually kind of helpful for me... I don't want my fuckhead friend knowing I play le funni hentai games...

I can prove you wrong. I do not have steam and will NEVER have it on this laptop again. All three times ive tried to download that stupid installer it either corrupted something important or gave me a virus.
I have a bug where i complete the level but the character just stays there and i can't advance. Anyone else?
