I don't think it needs it.
Is there a changelog somewhere ? I did a quick file comparison between .5 and .6 and basically this is what I think I saw:
- Adds Portuguese language
- Improvement/change to Turkish language?
- Slightly repositions things on options screen to fit the added language option
- Something about lovense dates?
- Upgrades renpy version to 8.3.0 from 8.2.0
- Change to some of the python files.
None of the bugfixes were to the script files themselves which is primarily what the i-mod and the walkthrough mod change. Renpy/Python files weren't touched by either of those mod so those version updates don't effect me. The only file that would theoretically need updated is the screens.rpy file however even that doesn't seem necessary given that if you are using the i-Mod then you're using English and don't need to be able to turn on Portuguese. And I have no idea what the lovense date change actually does on the screens file, but since the i-mod is not fully compatible with that at this time then that doesn't really matter either that there is any point in changing it.
