Nvm, found it through searching the thread.

Debug > Console Commands at the bottom > Enter ADD MONEY 10000 (whatever amount you want in the number option.)

Before you edited your post I was going to suggest you install Lexville mod. It adds a bunch of scenes so why wouldn't you.
I mention it because it also adds a cheat menu in your room.

Yes. When you're at the PI office, click the "Drawer: Check drawer" button, and you should get a dialogue that ends with you receiving the "Hypnosis for Teachers" book.

Alternatively, if you start a new game and set the fetish for "Mind Control" to max, you start with the book already in your inventory.

Say, since you seem in the know, is there any reason to keep the hypno-ray gun thing that you find in the woods if you're already training the old-fashioned way?
