Other areas where IMHO the game would benefit from a balance pass:

1. The detective sends you on a "quest" early to improve your hypnosis skill via a (not specified) specific locker room event. The event has a multi-day lockout between attempts and at least 2 skill checks. The first check appears to a standard hypnosis check that you can reasonably pass with a 10-20 hypnosis skill. The second requires a lot of luck with a fully maxed out hypnosis skill.

2. Flirting. The first stage of flirting works the first time you meet a character. But you can't repeat the flirting actions and the other two levels don't unlock until you have advanced your relationship to the point where you can bone them at will and there's nowhere left to go.

3. Popping a boner in public. The MC is a horndog that gets hard at the drop of a hat. Random events like the breeze blowing up some skirts or people in bathing suits laying out on the beach can push him over the edge, which causes everybody in the location to point and laugh for a massive loss of reputation, especially if the location happens to be crowded. Given how stingy the game is with reputation increases this event really bites.

Just started playing, stuck on Karin hardman questline I can't seem to get the spy camera unlock event, got masturbation policy unlocked but no luck, I know I haven't reached the point with sierra to corrupt her enough to do the blackmail route as I want to do the good way route for extra scenes.

1. From what I recall when fixing stuff, for one of the events you succeed at the first check IF you don't push your luck (try to go further), otherwise you need both (which depends a lot on the NPC stats). Might be misremembering though.

2. Flirting varies per NPC (stats, gender preferences, etc). If you're attractive and they're otherwise into you, you should be able to flirt without relationship.

3. That was changed in 1.11, the more clothed you are, the less likely the boner event is going to be. If sufficiently clothed vs population stats, won't trigger at all. I might need to check if any of my mods & Lexville don't override that event though, as I didn't know this change was made until yesterday xD

Okay, I'll bite - where the *hell* do you set up a swimming competition? It's not in the club management menu as far as I can tell, and it's not in the computer, so....?

1. I'll try and see, but I think I already tried that without success.

2. My base attraction to the gender is roughly 40 or so. Appearance is about 70. Attempting to flirt with a character I have 4 hearts of relationship with using the "personality" option and choosing the correct type results in -2 to relationship, loyalty, and arousal. I've already used the one time only Insightful flirting option.

3. I'm running 1.11.0.4. The MC is dressed in the default "conservative casual outfit". I increased arousal and fast traveled to downtown causing an instant loss of 1.9 reputation.

Okay, I'll bite - where the *hell* do you set up a swimming competition? It's not in the club management menu as far as I can tell, and it's not in the computer, so....?

You will be prompted on the first of the month about doing it. You might need to be in your office. You may also need to have hired the school secretary (but I don't think so). You need to have the started the swim club, have the upgrade where you can manage the club, and you might need to assign a coach before the event can trigger. I think the intention is that you don't actually accept the competition until you've had the school practicing for a few in-game months to get the stats up to competition grade.

That's likely because their corruption, lust and/or arousal is already pretty high, to the point where they don't mind fucking a relative stranger.
Especially at the beginning you need to boost relationship with flirting and by helping them before they accept anything in that direction.

That's what I was saying. Flirting doesn't work, so you're just giving them items and hypnotizing until you've hypnotized them into kissing you enough times to unlock the rest of the sex options. Once you do that the other flirting options finally open up.

When you meet a new character you want to level up who isn't quest locked the basic interactions are the same:

Ask about interests.
Help them out in whatever way they need.
Ask about job.
Ask about friends.
Flirt using the Insight options with the correct type for their personality.
Ask about their parents (if a student)
Ask about their parent's job (if a student)
Ask for their birthday
Ask for their phone number (doesn't always work)
Hypnotize to enhance corruption or reduce inhibition. I'm not sure which option is better.

At this point you're stuck with a long slow grind of giving them gifts and hypnotizing for many weeks. The other two flirting options just result in stat reductions. Hypnotizing them into kissing is also an option, but it doesn't appear to be much faster than any of the other hypnosis options.
