Other areas where IMHO the game would benefit from a balance pass:

1. The detective sends you on a "quest" early to improve your hypnosis skill via a (not specified) specific locker room event. The event has a multi-day lockout between attempts and at least 2 skill checks. The first check appears to a standard hypnosis check that you can reasonably pass with a 10-20 hypnosis skill. The second requires a lot of luck with a fully maxed out hypnosis skill.

2. Flirting. The first stage of flirting works the first time you meet a character. But you can't repeat the flirting actions and the other two levels don't unlock until you have advanced your relationship to the point where you can bone them at will and there's nowhere left to go.

3. Popping a boner in public. The MC is a horndog that gets hard at the drop of a hat. Random events like the breeze blowing up some skirts or people in bathing suits laying out on the beach can push him over the edge, which causes everybody in the location to point and laugh for a massive loss of reputation, especially if the location happens to be crowded. Given how stingy the game is with reputation increases this event really bites.

Just started playing, stuck on Karin hardman questline I can't seem to get the spy camera unlock event, got masturbation policy unlocked but no luck, I know I haven't reached the point with sierra to corrupt her enough to do the blackmail route as I want to do the good way route for extra scenes.

1. From what I recall when fixing stuff, for one of the events you succeed at the first check IF you don't push your luck (try to go further), otherwise you need both (which depends a lot on the NPC stats). Might be misremembering though.

2. Flirting varies per NPC (stats, gender preferences, etc). If you're attractive and they're otherwise into you, you should be able to flirt without relationship.

3. That was changed in 1.11, the more clothed you are, the less likely the boner event is going to be. If sufficiently clothed vs population stats, won't trigger at all. I might need to check if any of my mods & Lexville don't override that event though, as I didn't know this change was made until yesterday xD

1. I'll try and see, but I think I already tried that without success.

2. My base attraction to the gender is roughly 40 or so. Appearance is about 70. Attempting to flirt with a character I have 4 hearts of relationship with using the "personality" option and choosing the correct type results in -2 to relationship, loyalty, and arousal. I've already used the one time only Insightful flirting option.

3. I'm running 1.11.0.4. The MC is dressed in the default "conservative casual outfit". I increased arousal and fast traveled to downtown causing an instant loss of 1.9 reputation.

You will be prompted on the first of the month about doing it. You might need to be in your office. You may also need to have hired the school secretary (but I don't think so). You need to have the started the swim club, have the upgrade where you can manage the club, and you might need to assign a coach before the event can trigger. I think the intention is that you don't actually accept the competition until you've had the school practicing for a few in-game months to get the stats up to competition grade.

That's likely because their corruption, lust and/or arousal is already pretty high, to the point where they don't mind fucking a relative stranger.
Especially at the beginning you need to boost relationship with flirting and by helping them before they accept anything in that direction.

That's what I was saying. Flirting doesn't work, so you're just giving them items and hypnotizing until you've hypnotized them into kissing you enough times to unlock the rest of the sex options. Once you do that the other flirting options finally open up.

When you meet a new character you want to level up who isn't quest locked the basic interactions are the same:

Ask about interests.
Help them out in whatever way they need.
Ask about job.
Ask about friends.
Flirt using the Insight options with the correct type for their personality.
Ask about their parents (if a student)
Ask about their parent's job (if a student)
Ask for their birthday
Ask for their phone number (doesn't always work)
Hypnotize to enhance corruption or reduce inhibition. I'm not sure which option is better.

At this point you're stuck with a long slow grind of giving them gifts and hypnotizing for many weeks. The other two flirting options just result in stat reductions. Hypnotizing them into kissing is also an option, but it doesn't appear to be much faster than any of the other hypnosis options.

Am not aware of the first one so must have missed it.

Filtering it lets me go straight to complementing their body, and works fine. It's like everything else in this game a grindy mess, and as a whole feels super underbaked and uninteresting, even more so since it always plays out the same.

I noticed so long as you go directly home and whack off or stay in your office and have sex with one of your sluts, it never causes any issue, this might be a new update feature.


This all said, the game has a lot of grind to it, and gotcha's. Quests never really branch, and if you pick the wrong option you often lose a lot of reputation or end game. None of the quests are really satisfying either, they always just sort of end at a point.

There isn't many good ways to make money, as odd as that sounds, and the PI costs a lot and takes at least a week generally, and it halts game progress because nearly every quest requires you to hire the PI, and you cant do more then 1 even if you could afford it.

At multiple points I had to just wait in game in my guys room sleeping 12 hours at a time for a month to just get funds and other stuff, only leaving for the Completions or fundraiser.

for me, this is usually the game winner. once you have their number, you can call them once in a while for general chatter and boost their friendship a whole heart. at a certain point you can ask for basic sex stuff and if they at least say 'no thanks, but maybe one day' you'll get that small boost to relationship. I do save scum asking because if they get offended its a decent hit to rep

Follow up question: The stat bars are always black, yeah? I was expecting them to fill up in green for some reason, but it looks like they're always black and just change size?

edit: While I'm at it - does the "panty magic" quest chain still work? I've spent ingame *days* in the womens' locker room during cheerleading practice trying to proc the event with no dice. Got a fair few of the other ones but it seems like that's the one that triggers the rest..?

Go into options and maybe try changing those, this is a known issue. Might have better luck asking for help on their discord.

Answering my own question - cheerleader panties happen between 7-7:50 ***AM*** on tuesdays and thursdays (at least for the first instance; later ones may? be agnostic on that front).

You could use the debug console with commands like "ADD DAYS 3" and "ADD TIME 2 30". Even works with negative values. But that's skipping time without properly running things, so it's possible you miss out on stuff. And going back in time can lead to other issues, or at least leave you starved for certain events because an event schedules itself to run at a future date when it completes, so that date will be even further in the distance then.
