Why though?

Not sure how to describe it but I felt that the assholes in NTRPG 2 (The two Knights) were entertainingly hate-able and their smut scenes were fun to watch due to how intense and active they were.

Meanwhile in HC2, The more and more Zeno, his son and the three male villagers talk or act, I find them boring and unlikable which really lowers the enjoyment of the smut scenes for me. This is especially true with Zeno and his son, the more they talk about their evil plans and reasons, I find them just annoyingly obnoxious and dull.

I'm not sure how many would get this reference but I feel like the assholes in NTRPG 2 are like the characters from the 2003 clone wars animated series, short scenes, not much info about their backstories but are intense and entertaining from the start to the end. While the HC2, characters are like some of the characters in The Clone Wars, we are given a lot of time with them, a lot of backstory, their reasons and intentions but as it goes on, their threatening aspects and plans just becomes annoying and you rather want someone more basic and straightforward to take over for them.

By the way, this isn't even a close to review of the cartoons, I just genuinely am not sure how to describe me thoughts on the differences.

Tldr, Zeno and his son are for me, boring villains that really lack charisma and entertainment/intrigue value.

The Only good scenes that I actually liked was when the son was with the wood elves (I think), it was simple and he was actually a dominating asshole during those scenes.

I don't remember much of NTRPG2 (ran into a bug and stopped playing) but weren't the antagonists 'non-characters'?
They just showed up and raped/molested the girl immediately. There was really nothing to them, they barely spoke when not giving sex command and every instance of them appearing would involve a sexscene. Could be my memory being selective.

I vastly prefer what N_taii has going on here.

Edit: I might be getting NTRPG 1 and 2 mixed up but they both featured very nonexistant antaginists as far as personality and 'presence'. Barely more than walking sexmachines.
I assume Hellover wants more sexscenes and finds the greater plot boring or in the way?

Not sure but I think that one might be NTRPG 1 since while they don't talk that much, the assholes in 2 do have quite a bit of scenes were they work over the town and the other characters.

Edit: I like plot but I'm talking about that I dislike the characters, not that I'm against making a long and detailed plot.

Unofrtunately, I don't know much about JoiPlay, so I can't really help. I just know that this seems to cause a whole array of issues that weren't in the base game, unfortunately. Sorry.

Actually, I took inspiration from a character by hentai artist Kunaboto, and I later learned that she was actually a modified version of Sera, who I had never heard about before. As for Aywin, she doesn't really have a model I took inspiration from. I just knew I wanted a redhead with green eyes, and with her hair tied in a bun so I could have a version with her hair down during the sex scenes^^

Is it just me but are the NTR'ing male characters just amazingly boring as antagonists. When I tried the latest version and was going for the not yet finished ending choices, I wanted to go for the good endings for the MC, not because I hated the villains but rather because I just couldn't stand watching anything more with them.

Unlike the villains from NTRPG 2, I can't stand or enjoy the ones in this one, the backstories, personalities, actions and plans, They just annoy me too much.

I just want to say though that this is just my opinion and even though I will admit that I really can't say that I like the game, I will say that it has been well made with decent progress, so don't let my opinion conflict with your own personal opinions on the game.

However, I like to have the plot of my games based around the villains "evil plan", so they need to have at least some depth and cunningness to them if I want the game to last at least a fair bit of time. But I'm just going to be honest here and say that your villains don't really carry that depth or cunningness, they are really just boring bitches frankly in my opinion and not entertaining at all, something that I felt even to a lesser degree with your previous project.

Edit: I think one issue might be that they actually lack any real interesting traits, being a jealous villain and a smug jerk can be ones but it all depends on how it is displayed. Zeno and his son really lack actual displays, like in your previous game as well, they seem to succeed more because of every one elses mass stupidity, luck and having someone else helping them. Zeno feels a bit like a one episode villain that has really overstayed his welcome.

Just my opinion though, I doubt that my opinion is really shared.

I am surprised to see these statements being made considering that I have the opposite opinion when it comes to both of the games you mention. One could say it is a matter of taste.

I do agree that NTRPG2 has some really intense scenes. but the characters are uninteresting assholes whose only trait is being stronger than the MC and whose motivation is "I go explore the dungeon on weekends". the characters are literally just bullies that struck upon a goldmine.

meanwhile Zeno has a motivation for being an asshole. Llife was "hard" on the character starting from the point that the mother of the MC married another man instead of him. and the story shows how he became what he is and why he acts the way he does. and then you have his son that though his character is more like the NTRPG2 "just a bully", that is because his parent raised him to be that way. I personally became more invested in Zeno's backstory for most of the first half of the game over the erotic elements of the game. (whether that is good or bad in an erotic game is a matter of debate and personal taste)

As for believing that Villains succeed because everyone else's mass stupidity is openly ignoring the conventions of the medium and the genre. We are talking about Porn and NTR, NTRPG2 has his fairness of stupidity as well. I remember when I played it my first thought was like. "ok MC the bad guys are obviously stronger than you. so better think about running away from town" and to my surprise when I see what the "true" ending is. the whole game is the character never thinking about the simple solution of leaving a town where he barely has any attachments.

You see this being porn makes it so most of the time characters have to bend themselves in order to serve the primary purpose wich is to serve pornography. It reminds me of a post I saw a while ago of a person denouncing NTR as cringe. when he failed to realize that NTR is just as cringe as harems. in both cases most of the time characters fall into sex in an instant with the only difference being the circumstances surrounding the act.

I understand what you say. But I think you should express yourself in a better way. saying "it is my opinion" is not a valid way to shield yourself from criticism and replies. because just as you said it I also said that I had a different opinion. Even at this moment you use the word complain wich implies some sort of wrongdoing.

Anyways dont take it personal, you see, the main purpose of my post is to express a counter point so that the people that read the forum does not see only one person saying that they don't like the characters. Sadly this involves addressing your posts to an extent so even though it may seem like I am replying to you personally, I am more interested in that other readers see that there are different opinions on the same topic.

Still I think improving the way you present your opinion can help others to better understand your comment. I think most other readers understood that you prefer stronger punchier antagonist even if they were shallow. which is a valid statement but you never acknowledge that others prefer more cerebral and cunning antagonists even if they are weaker. I think this is why you may be getting a lot of replies. it is just others trying to make you aware of that fact.

Try to use words like I prefer, or I like when things are done this way, statements that indicate your personal preferences instead of bashing on the preferences of others. By saying that cerebral and cunning characters were boring you caused people to let you know that others thought differently.

All in all, I hope you are enjoying the game. Don't you think that the latest update is leaning towards an interesting ending?

I also said that I didn't find Zeno and his son (+ the other males) to be cerebral or cunning but more rather they are given everything on a silver platter with everyone else too stupid or ignorant. At least with the Wood-Elves, Zeno's son managed to beat everyone on a leveled playing field and used that to get the wood elves.

No Offense to the dev though but I think this was my last month. I played through the last update and I think i'm just dropping the series, I really don't care about any of the endings.

I'm happy that the dev has had such a great success since when I first supported him, I was somewhat worried that the dev wouldn't get much attention but N_Taii managed to make a popular game that has it's audience. Shame that the Guy that Made the NTRPG series doesn't have his work ethic.

It's mainly pixel art animations for sex scenes, yes. The game starts rather slowly in the beginning, but it picks up later on (around 40+ scenes at this stage). however, if pixel art isn't your thing, you might not enjoy it.

It should be compatible. However, if it isn't, you have a a folder within the game files with all the saves for the sex scenes and the beginning of each update : ) Also, there's a walkthrough^^
