1. Yes, please leave more speedup options. Yes, they are needed. 1,2,3,4 ones for example. Or 1,2 like no0w and global engine 2x switch (so door opening animation will be 2x faster too, not only dash).
2. If you buy sound/music assets already in lossy format (mp3, Ogg Vorbis) then do nothing, just grab and use it. But if you commission work to sound artist (they make sounds for you), ask for FLAC based source files delivered aside of Ogg/mp3. Sth similar as example: you want someone to film some scenes for your YT channel, but it is 2009 year and you use 240p video on YT. You ask cameraman to deliver uncompressed movie for later usage, despite NOW you use 240p anyway. In 2022 you reupload 1080p version.
3. Delivering same quality as intro will be probably enough Many players provided similar feedback, and so far CH3 intro is far better.

Okay, I will see about adding an option to increase dash speed. It isn't high on my priority list for now, but it is on the list : ) I'm not sure of there is even a possibility to increase the game's global speed. I've looked it up quickly, but found nothing.
I buy all my music, but never commission it. There are already thousands of tracks out there, and what I would spend on commissioning one song would probably be enough to buy 30+ of already existing ones^^ All of them have MP3 or OGG, so it's fine.

A friend told me about HC1 and after playing the first game I was surprised to know there was a second one done and a third one in development.

It's really rare to see a dev focus on sprite sex/dot animation instead of going full CG for a game, as a pixel artist myself it makes me happy to see some devs working on pixel art and sprite sex for games.

Your games are really interesting and I had fun playing them N_taii, I hope you keep making more games like these and other devs realize that you can make some fun games just with sprite sex, no need for 3D art or CGs.

Its going very well, there was a short delay, due to some complicated RPGM mechanisms not working the way N_taii wanted them to, but it is all done now.

According to his last PoL post on Patreon atm N_taii seems to be working on 1. community feedback, 2. the early game world backstory introduction and 3. the continuation of the story.

1. community feedback: 2 free-roaming lewd scenes were added to the early introduction, the dash button/option has been worked upon, there is now an option to hide the text bar at any moment.

2. N_Taii commissioned several CGs for the backstory in the intro, where there is only a black screen in the first version. So he will rework this part of the early introduction.

3. the usual continuation of the different quests and story lines

and also as I happen to know, many small tweaks and improvements.

I always loved pixel art more than actual CGs to be honest. Due to the lower amount of pixels, it is easier to make more frames, and thus the animations always look much more fluid than CGs (if the CGs have any animation). Maybe I'm the only one, but when I play porn games, I always prefer fluid animations over detailed artworks. I find it easier for my brain to imagine a face and physical features than continuous movement, I'm not sure why.
Besides, it is cheaper and faster to make, easier to modify and adapt when needed, which means far more artistic freedom and far less technical and budget limitations. It is perfect for games like mine, which focus more on stimulating imagination with a wide array of situations and scenes (and sounds too).
I don't have any plans to move from pixel art to CGs, no matter how successful I get. Maybe a few CGs here and there to help with world-building and important scenes, but all I wish for is better, more detailed pixel art.

Ideally, one day, I'll be able to move onto bigger, better sprites, such as in this picture:

But that will require a huge budget if I want my games to keep the same scale as now, so it won't be right away^^

If you like pixel art games, I recommend "The Hero Party Must Fall" or "Foster Home for Fantasy Girls", which use far bigger sprites than mine, but are still technically pixel art.

I have underestimated the amount of work HC3 would require, especially on the scale of a small city with tons of new sprites, new NPCS every day and night, and features. But hey, I'm making progress. Hopefully, I'll be able to release the demo version in a month or two. Hopefully. I'll take the time I need^^

That's more or less the idea. Since the first version I release to the public will be a lot of people's first impression of either HC3 or the HC series as a whole, I want to extend the story a little further and make sure as many of the new features are in the first public release as possible. That means the currently released version, which lacks a certain amount of features and mostly covers the MC's childhood, will remain as a Patreon only, and the upcoming update will be the first free release. It will follow the usual schedule of being released to the public after a certain amount of time as a Patreon exclusive (only for this version I won't wait an entire month to release it for free, more like 15 days or something).

Well, the 1st version is literally available for 1$ instead of the usual 5$ ^^ I don't want to force anyone to buy anything, of course, but at this point and with what I have explained above, it's the most I can do. It either that or waiting a bit longer when I finally release the first version, sorry. Still, all the waiting you're doing now is not in vain, since you'll get to play a longer and more complete demo version.
I'll post periodical updates on my progress from time to time, when I deem it necessary : )

Didn't play trial, so just assuming from their sheets: I like everyone except nun(I don't find mother figures being netorared that interesting). Princess is intriguing and knight is my favourite for now since I really like cold girls getting corrupted. I dunno about short girl, her likability for me will depend on her interactions with MC. Overall their designs are pretty good

I haven't played the trial yet, so right now the only ones I'm looking forward to are the nun and the ice queen (love their design and mom/big sis ntr in general)
