RPGM Henteria Chronicles Ch. 3: The Peacekeepers [P2 Update 22] [N_taii]

To settle the debate, the initial plan for Lily and Haylen was to keep them "pure and untouched" in the endings if their quests hadn't been progressed past a certain point. But that was before I had to do a part.2 for HC3 due to the engine's limitations.
Now, since part.2 assumes every side quest for Haylen and Lily in part.1 has been finished, it would make no sense to ignore their level of corruption and act like nothing has happened in the endings if people haven't done their 2 last side quests in part.2.

So, even if the SQ of part.2 haven't been finished before the endings, I'll probably act as if stuff happened in the background instead. I might add a few differences here and there, we'll see.

As for HC4, I want to keep 2 side girls same as HC3, but bring them into the main quest and make their content feel a bit less important than the main girls. At least, that's the plan currently, but it could always be subject to change.

That seems like the best approach to me and it was the one I was hoping you'd go with. It accomplishes two things. First, no confusing on their status for the endgame. Second, it leaves you with more room to experiment on the side stories.

When you start the game you're given the option to pick whether or not the choices are coloured. You probably chose the no colour option.

When you start the game you're given the option to pick whether or not the choices are coloured. You probably chose the no colour option.

But i wanna add that you can change this whenever you want.


You select the POV&Hints menu, and here you can set or disable the hints for the choices

Every once in a while i run into a video or an image that's AI, but overall i wouldn't really say that i'm actively following it's development so i don't exacly know what it is capable of in September 2025, but i'll say this, compared to other AI stuff that i see online, it is borderline creepy how well it can replicate

's artstyle, poor bastard's gonna be out of a job a year before every other artist.

By the time N_Taii starts working on HC4 in the distant future of 2027, he'll be able to create both whole body portraits and headshots for the textbox in 5 mintes or less that is gonna be indistinguishable from an actual artist.

I never said that he SHOULD use it, i just mentioned how by the time development of HC4 begins he'll probably be more than able to do it if he wanted to.
But, just so we're on the same page, i'd have absolutely no issues with it if N_Taii decided to use it, Pandora's box has been opened and there's no closing it, and guilt tripping devs into not using AI, at least the way i see it, is just prolonging the inevitable, if N_Taii can create portraits that are on par with DyuN's quality for free and in no time then i would totally understand if he decided to make them with AI. I've seen N_Taii mention in PoLs how artists are weeks late with the commissions or just straight up gone radio silent one too many times for me to care about hard working artists enough to oppose the use of AI.

But to be fair, games with actual CGs are a completely different subject, if NTRman was to release another dogshit NTR game but this time with AI art, that...i don't even know english words that you could use to describe what that would be, but a game like Henteria using AI i can absolutely get behind, especially if saving money on portaits would mean a higher budget for the actual scenes.

Really? There are no illustrations in the game? I guess imagined the splash screen, and the conversation portrait busts, and the character profile images. Those must not exist even though N_Taii regularly discussed commissioning and waiting for the artwork in PoLs. Guess I have a really, really vivid imagination and the AI artwork in question somehow possesses wholly original style that certainly wasn't stolen from a real human being even though that's literally impossible.

Anywhoodles, finally got back to my replay of HC3 and I realized I completely forgot about how Lily's story starts. Kinda curious to see if it'll end with the magic shop owner buying the tickets for her family in exchange for Lily's complete loyalty.

Ai making images in art style resembling someones work is not a steal. Otherwise all the art in the world will be a steal.
Every artist imitates someone.
Having more Ai images is a good call instead of having nothing.
From a legal perspective N_taii payed this artist for the characters design and can use them as he see fit.
No one losing in this situation.

Damn man, these arts are goated. Do they take a long time took make? Casue I would love to see more in the future, especially when the scenes are getting spicier towards the end

As much as I'll admit that it's tempting seeing how good they look, I'm not using AI portraits and CGs in my game, especially not if they've been clearly trained on a certain artist's artstyle without their consent.
I'm not saying I'm against anyone putting AI artworks on here, quite the contrary, but I'm not using them to make any money.

Ironic that one of Dyun(the original artist)'s last retweets is of some anit-AI artist who claims they've been harrassed by AI supporters after they found out their address.

Probably way too much. In my experience artist commissions went from rational to insane over the past six or so years. As in hundreds of dollars for a basic bust of a character.

It's very overpriced these days, so much so that it's the key that made AI so popular, and DyuN looks like it's really expensive, but the art is very good and impressive, no lie.
