If you're thinking about playing the Lily update ENTIRELY because of Aywin then don't, it is a very short cameo where Aywin is just talking to Leto for a few seconds.

For me, it would’ve been much more interesting if Aywn had made her cameo in Haylen’s last update, telling Leto something like how mothers don’t hide things from their children because they want to hurt them, or something along those lines XD.

Re: endings and cameos, that is always the biggest concern I had with Chapter 2's finale: that the True ending feels like such an odd choice to make the one official ending of the game directly undercut the central draw of the series, like having a romantic dating sim suddenly end with the two characters breaking up so that the protagonist can focus on his education. After all, I assume most of us are playing specifically for the NTR, and while I do enjoy the inclusion of a Happy ending, I feel like it is inherently the least interesting option to ever treat that like the default path because it just... permanently resolves the story of those characters, should they ever pop back up again in future installments.

With the True ending of Chapter 2, there was really no room for anything more to happen with Aywin's cameo — not that something more needed to happen this time specifically, but that is a pretty hard limitation of treating the good endings as the canon path; once the story is over, those characters are put into stasis because there are no new stories you can tell with them in an NTR series, like if "True ending" Aywin showed up here and was immediately seduced by Jazon or Tavros in the background. And that saps so much intrigue out of the air, when you know that a character like Aywin is now functionally untouchable in this story.

Just as a hypothetical... Let's assume that "Happy ending" Cyanna pops up somewhere in the middle of Chapter 4. What are some ways that her cameo there could be different from Aywin's cameo this time? I honestly have trouble thinking of anything that wouldn't just be a superficial distinction, like "oh, Aywin shows up here and gives advice to Leto based on her past experiences, but what if Cyanna shows up and gives advice to the heroine of Chapter 4 instead?"


But I am also coming at this from the angle of someone who prefers extremely cynical NTR stories where everything is awful and that corruption is treated as an almost immutable, inevitable law of the setting like gravity... so I have a vested interest in rooting for the other endings to get more canon representation. (and I might still be a little salty about another NTR story's unsatisfying "and then everything went back to normal" conclusion which has been bothering me for almost six months now.)
