Also, at least for me personally, seeing a message that 'something has changed' with one of the girls can be pretty hot in and of itself. It adds to the sense that things are progressing out of the MCs controlActually, I find that having NPCs mentioning game functions might be even more immersion-breaking, as they're supposed to be part of the world and then suddenly the bring up "character screen" in the middle of the conversation^^ Imagine you're eating in a restaurant and the server comes up and tells you to press B to bring up the menu : ) I suppose pop-ups would be the better option all things considered.
Yeah, I wish I had an easier-to-use character screen to update the text, but for now, it's kind of difficult due to the text box being really, really small and limited.
Thanks about the typo, fixed!
Yes, but at least we'll get there!^^ Don't be in a hurry, young padawan, for it is better to look forward to something than feel empty once it has passed.
Well, meow to you too, kind sir/madam.
What i was trying to say was that if you talk to a certain npc at the church you will hear something like "Have you seen how Haylen has changed recently?"Actually, I find that having NPCs mentioning game functions might be even more immersion-breaking, as they're supposed to be part of the world and then suddenly the bring up "character screen" in the middle of the conversation^^ Imagine you're eating in a restaurant and the server comes up and tells you to press B to bring up the menu : ) I suppose pop-ups would be the better option all things considered.
The idea itself is okay and it's great RP but that's purely based on dumb luck, you can miss it just as easily as the outfit change itself in the character screen menu because not everyone's gonna speak to every single NPC after every quest that they do. Also, the only purpose these NPC's would have is to remind the player of the character screen menu but if you were to look for these NPC's intentionally that would already mean that you are aware of it therefore it would defeat it's purpose. What i was trying to say was that if you talk to a certain npc at the church you will hear something like "Have you seen how Haylen has changed recently?"
Or for Cyanna some npc looking at her when she's patrolling "No wonder the monsters can do whatever they want, just look how the guards are dressing nowadays".
And then you as the player knows that the bio page has been updated.
The best immersion is what we have right now, which is nothing, since the menu itself doesn't really exist for the characters in the game, it's only for the player. Sure it sucks if you miss it, but if you save your game every once in a while and you don't overwrite your previous ones, then you can go back and see them whenever you remember that they exist. If we're getting a notification of some sort no matter what, then a message that pops up after finishing a quest that simply says "Rose's outfit has been changed/altered in the character screen menu" or just a short "The Character Screen Menu has been Updated" is perfectly fine for me, i don't see how that would ruin anyone's immersion. Although i gotta admit, it's pretty hard to ruin immersion for me, even if you added a duck that starts flying and yelling above Leto's head whenever there is something new in the Character Screen Menu, i wouldn't mind at all.Actually, I find that having NPCs mentioning game functions might be even more immersion-breaking, as they're supposed to be part of the world and then suddenly the bring up "character screen" in the middle of the conversation^^ Imagine you're eating in a restaurant and the server comes up and tells you to press B to bring up the menu : ) I suppose pop-ups would be the better option all things considered.
lundath morning. Cyanna's scene in the military hqWhat scene might be the problem?
Yeah look into the game folder, there is a guide/walkthrough.the game have any guide ?
Played it a bit... wanted to review it... decided against it. This is so popular and most people are so thankful and think is a hidden gem in the genre.
I just don't get it (no sarcasm I really am confused as hell) and therefore do not bother to review it.
It is a shitton of text and entirely story based. >>> Not a problem. The problem for me is I can't help but feel so frustrated because I have to endure a story that makes absolutely no sense in my opinion. It feels like torture for me (not because of the NTR aspect but because the mc is like a doll and the player has really no real influence over anything).
Apparently I am nearly the only one who dislikes the story so I will not review it.
But I keep wondering:
This world is insanely cruel and apparently the whole world is evil except the protagonist and the 2 main and 2 sub heroines who are supposedly 100% nice and innocent. It's like a hell out there and you are forced to play as a emotionless puppet who sees 4 of his friends / family members who somehow survived in this insane world turn into sluts in a manner of days. I like NTR and I hoped to see some corruption but the 4 female characters behave just so strangely.
Somehow the heroines are total losers and pushovers who act like braindead bimbos and let themselve become whores for the worst kind of people.
The one time they somehow think logically and act forcefully is if they talk with the mc.
It is painful to read... not because I dislike NTR because the mc is so damn weak and you get the feeling he is somehow daywalking and not really awake. He could be a japanese anime protagonist.
Anyway I always cringed at every corner and the scenes themselves were painfully awkward with only sprite art.
Also is this consideres NTR? The mc does not even talk or express any emotion and just says "? ..." Sometimes I feel the mc is just an empty shell and the player should imagine himself in the perspective of the mc. But the player has next to no choice and he is forced to look at a tent where 2 people are obviously having sex but unable to talk about it or do something. Other weak NTR protagonist at least get aroused, cry, react, think and tell us what they feel... some try to win her back and some even accept it. This guy does nothing and I never realize what the viewer is supposed to think here?
I would not call this NTR but I would call this "girls getting corrupted and learning how to enjoy sex while a guy they know acts like a lifeless doll and bystander and notices them having sex but doesn't react at all."
Anyway just wanted to express my frustration and my suprise because I usually agree with the ratings here.
How can you call this game unrealistic like come on, this is probably the most realistic NTR game on the entire platform, everything actually has a reason for happening, and you calling the mc a doll, i remember somewhere i read a text that N_taii did it to so that people don't get too attached to the main character hence why you also can't name changePlayed it a bit... wanted to review it... decided against it. Well i kind of agree with you, or i can at least understand what you say. Almost every female character in the story is either a slut or betrays her man. The large majority of male characters are also sooner or later fucking someone elses woman or corrupt them. One or two exceptions would be nice. The mc is not dumb.I never get what the point of a hentai game needs to be realistic. It's just hentai, why are people trying to find sense in it? Not a criticism, just curious. Anyway, I think the story is great. I haven't played everything yet, I want to wait for the corruption to advance a little more, but I really like the MC being so dumb (or too innocent), just my opinion.
Personally that doesn't bother me since one of the things I like the most about the game are the freeroam events and the side histories that you can find all over the mapI do think that some parts of the game have too much sex silhouettes? While traversing the story (which is actually great) I find some parts are bombarded with these a lot such as the war camp and such (I don't mind the main heroines). Other than that its a great game overall.
Only Update 6 will focus on Lily and Haylen, we'll go back to the main story in Update 7.Update 6 and 7 are going to focus on developing Hayleen and Lily's story? It's clear to me that 6 will clearly advance a bit, and while I like updates where the main story and Rose and Cyanna's scenes are advanced more, I understand that Hayleen and Lily also have their audience waiting for them.
If we think about it, we are in a part where you can let the main story rest for a while and focus more on Hayleen and Lily's route since if we compare them with Rose and Cyanna they are far behind in scenes and in the progress of their missions.
As I said, I like more the updates focused on Rose and Cyanna, but I think that if you delay more the development of Hayleen and Lily's stories they are going to be far behind and possibly it becomes a bit heavy to do their missions (at least that's my point of view).
This is a problem for only those people who play the game Update from Update, once the whole game is out you're not gonna run into this, and even though it could easily happen again, this was the first time where something similar has happened. Adding a new portal to every map where an Update ends just so the player can access the recollection room is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. If you wanna be tricky you could load in a previous save anytime where Leto is still in the city and that way you could go and watch all the scenes you want.By the way, another thing I was thinking about as a result of this update is about the issue of accessing the memory room while outside the main map.
I don't know if in the future we will have more development outside the main map (I imagine we will) if I remember correctly so far we have left the main map on several occasions (I only remember the three times it was through military camp).
But it would be nice that to avoid the problem of not being able to enter the memory room and see the new scenes, you could add a teleport from Leto's tent or any other place where Leto can rest (assuming that not every time we leave the map is for a military event or Leto has a tent where to sleep).
About the Brothel thing, what do you mean ? It's still there in every Update, and on certain nights you can even see silhouettes in the windows. As for the "potential for freeroam events or develop something", i can't say for sure but it is more than likely that at least a few of the main girls will visit the place in the distant future, i don't see why else N_Taii would put such a place in the game.Another thing, will the brothel that came out in the prologue come out again in future updates?, I hope so as it has potential for freeroam events or develop something there.
