Hey everyone, how are you doing in this fine morning/afternoon/evening? If you were looking for something to cure your boredom for a few instants, look no further, for I've come here as a bringer of news about HC3! Btw, by "she", Jazon means Haylen, but you've probably already figured that one out-

Okay, I'll keep this short though, because I'm exhausted. I've worked for most of the day (it's 11pm now) on the game and various other irl stuff, and I've finally finished the extra scene. That thing involved so many people and so many animations (10+), it took all my brain power and a lot of time. I have a terrible tendency to go for the most work-heavy concepts for extra scenes whenever I'm already behind on schedule.

Anyway, with that out of the way, I can focus on the very last segment of the game, with a bit of story stretching until the very last scene of the update. Since I'm, not quite sure how technical said last scene will be, I can't say exactly how long it's going to take me. Same with the freeroam events. In any case, the new update will be out within the next two weeks.

I really apologize for how long this one took, and thank you for continued support in spite of the delays. It means a lot.

Even if you can't be sure, and that's normal, do you know if there's a chance for any of the chars to get involved in MMF threesomes in the future, perhaps further down the line?
As, imho the scenes in HC2 where chars were sudddenly shared were among the hottest ones

Ulrod doesn't seem the type to share Cyanna though. Other girls, yes. But not Cyanna. She's been his lifelong love obsession, even if he loves differently. She was the childhood friend he sacrificed himself to protect. HC2 had other things going on, like the drug that made men super strong and horny. Like sure, Zeno loved Aywin in his way, but he had a philosophy of total male dominance and they were all hecked up on drugs.

Likewise I don't see the Duke knowingly sharing Rose. Like, sure he actually is helping her charge up the pillars, but he's turning her into his little slut. It's no surprise if he eventually wants to impregnate her, and sharing her out risks someone else knocking her up first. I can see him doing a 'go back and have sex with Leto' trick, but only so Rose is forced to compare them and realize that Leto can no longer satisfy her. It's a ploy that, ultimately, leads her right back to him.

I do want to involve Shani in the endings one way or another, although I'm not 100% sure how. Her and her tribe could be a good idea for a short, alternative good ending for example.

It's not you. I've been a lot more ambitious with the updates lately. More scenes, more animations, more freeroams, more maps, more story, etc... It's the usual loop of always wanting to do as well, if not better than the previous update, and things keep piling up until you can't work as fast as you used to.

I do want to try and shorten them again. I managed that with Lily's last update, which took only a bit over one month. For Haylen's update, I had to work on making HC3 part.2 to circumvent the 999 maps limit I'd already reached in part 1, which took over a week to do, and then a string of bad health, not bad enough to be worrying, but bad enough to make it harder to focus, further delayed the release. It should be out by the end of next week though.

Standard diffusion XL run locally, Pony XL checkpoint. Civitai is fun if you want to have a try before plunging in to the steeper learning curve that's necessary for results like these. I'm still learning myself. Getting the man to be recognizably the Duke will be the next challenge.

If you learn one thing from big game releases this last five years, learn this; players don't care as much about the forced monthly updates as you do. We just care that the dev is okay and the update is good when it comes. We're fine with 'every two months' updates, if it means what you give us is polished and not rushed.

Though I understand the pressure you might have from patreon, etc, which do work on monthly schedules.
