Proof of Life #289: Slowly getting there

Hello guys and girls, how's it going in this fine morning/afternoon/evening? Good or bad, I hope this new PoL’s going to make your day a bit better, even if I’ll have to keep it short.
So, I did a good week of work, finished all the events at the Duke’s manor, all the story segment after that until the last scene, and tested everything until then. I am currently developing the last scene as we speak and, by my estimations, it should be around halfway done.
That leaves one more scene, the extra one, after that, and probably two freeroam events on top + one Triple trident opponent. That means some more stuff to be done still, but, as per the title, we’re getting there.
For the release date, I can’t give a day in particular, but I’d say the first version should be out by the end of next week.
As you can see from the screenshot above, I’ve managed to finally put the new portraits I’d commissioned a while ago with a different haircut + some makeup. Also, if you’re wondering, Cyanna will also have her own new portrait in the same vein in this update.
That’s about all I can say for now. I’ll keep working hard to get this new update as soon as possible! More news next Monday~

I kinda want those 2 freeroams to be about Haylen and Lily cause not only is Update21&22 are both exclusively main story updates, but even in Update19 (which was for Lily) & Update20 (which was for Haylen) Rose and Cyanna both got 1 freeroam events each (per update), and yeah i know that the game was always going to end up heavily in favour of Rose and Cyanna in terms of content cause they're main characters, but i'm pretty sure that we're at a point where Rose has around twice as many freeroam events as Lily or Haylen.
Nothing about that PoL indicates that he did.
Yar, the makeup Rose is wearing looks similar to her whore make up from the undercover update. Mayhaps we're getting a... financially beneficial but socially degrading kind of sharing? The last part of Rose's life that has been "for" Leto is her the secret identity she uses in the public, could this finally be where someone puts their dick in it?

My guess is that the last scene of the Update's gonna be either a double scene with both Cyanna and Rose, or just a Cyanna scene exclusively, but i do think that one way or another Cyanna's gonna get a scene in this last segment. On one hand N_Taii mentioned in the PoL that Cyanna's gonna get her own portrait in "the same vein", which i'm guessing it means that she's gonna get a portrait that's gonna be similar to the one that she had while she was an undercover prostitue, exacly like Rose's new portrait, hence the "same vein" part (which then also means that she's probably gonna help Rose out at Tavros's tavern in this last segment of the Update for whatever reason), and also THE main reason why i think Cyanna's gonna be involved in the last scene is because the first 2 scenes are for Rose that we already know, and N_Taii VERY rarely does main story updates where only 1 girl gets scenes, he even said countless times before that he tries to balance the amount of scenes between Rose and Cyanna by going back and forth between giving one of them 2 scenes and the other one 1 scene, as a matter of fact i'm pretty sure that there was only ever 1 main story Update where only one out of the 2 main girls got scenes.
What i'm mostly curious about though is Tavros's tavern itself, more importantly why is there a new barmaid and why do the barmaids look like that, cause my immediate reaction to that PoL was it must be because of the agreement between Lily and Anna-Lisa, where Anna-Lisa helped Lily seduce Nezar, and in return Lily stayed out of Anna-Lisa's way when it came to the Tavern, so basically i thought that because Lily technically left, there was nothing in the way of Tavros and Anna-Lisa to make the place more...slutty...er ? i guess, i don't know a better word to describe it, not that it matters though cause that is definitely not the reason cause that agreement happens in Lily's route and that is optional, sooooo yeah, that's out of the picture as a possibility.
Maybe the Duke rented the place out for some reason and one night he decided to throw a party there or i don't know, but now that i'm coming up with theories left and right, i thought of something that i think it would be cool to see, even thought i know that most people prefer the 1on1 stuff. If Cyanna's gonna put on her hooker makeup again and act like a barmaid for the night, then it would be cool to see that guy from the other Update where the girls were pretending to be prostitutes.

Reached the point where Leto meets the king and Jesus H Christ does it fucking drag. It's recent enough that the remember the events so I've been holding control to skip through the dialogue and it's still feels like it's never going to end.
Nah, I'm pretty sure it's just that everyone in Henteria is a slut by default except for the MCs.

Proof of Life #290: Last week of crunch before the release!

Hello everyone, how’s it going in this fine morning/afternoon/evening? It took me close to 3 hours to fall asleep last night, so I’m not at my best, but definitely well enough to work and give you some more news about HC3 before the first release.
So, I think the new update will be out this weekend. I technically don’t have much left to do, just finish the extra scene (I’m at the last part), add 2 freeroams, and retest everything to make sure there are no game-breaking bugs.
However, some irl stuff means I’ll be busy for a few days, and the extra scene’s got a lot of stuff to edit and draw left, so the artists have got quite a lot of work to do and only two hands, which is why I might be done with my development before the commissions have been delivered.
The screenshot above is from the extra scene. I don’t really like posting stuff that’s only going to be in one version of the update, but since all I did since last week was development on the last scene of the update + the extra scene, it’s the only thing I can post without it ending up being a complete spoiler.
I’m not 100% satisfied of the extra scene. I mean, I’ve put a lot of work into it, but I feel it lacks some originality, and will end up being quite similar to Cyanna’s gangbang scene from last update. It’s the only thing I could think of that truly fit within the story. Still, if you like Cyanna, Eddie, or/and Alys (+some minor stuff with the maids), you’ll like this scene.
Anyway, that’s it! I’ll see you for the first release! It’s likely there won’t be a PoL next week though, due to me not having done anything yet, sorry about that!

I'll leave this banger here as well while i'm at it, hopefully there's gonna be someone here who's gonna be thinking about this while they're gonna be playing the Update and it'll ruin their immersion when they get to this point.
