Yeah, I’m really glad we share the same tastes in this genre. The Kiss Marks He Left on Her Body is without a doubt one of the best examples—it’s rare to see an NTR story that manages to stay emotional and grounded without falling into cheap humiliation or “happy cuck” nonsense.yeah, our tastes in this genre is similar, like how we both like that «begging not to leave» part and that we both hate the usual pathetic cuck mc, i played «the kiss marks he left on her body» as you suggested, and the path where seichi finds out about her cheating and the confrontation was really good, i enjoyed it, i really hope we see more like this in ntr games, not just the typical «happy cuck» that gets all the bad endings, and the ones who betray him get all the happy endings they don't deserve.
One of my all-time favorite series is Overflow’s trilogy — School Days, Shiny Days, and Cross Days. What makes Cross Days special is that it takes place in parallel with School Days but from the perspective of a new protagonist. He tries to help a girl who’s in love with the MC from the first game, while being in love with another girl himself. Unfortunately, that girl misunderstands his intentions, thinking he’s cheating on her. Depending on the route, she even ends up sleeping with the original School Days protagonist out of jealousy. I love how Cross Days feels like an interactive anime—you have very little time to make decisions, and every choice feels meaningful. I’d really love to get the full series one day. Everything’s been released except Cross Days, and a remake of School Days is already in development, which I’m really excited for.
Another title that left a strong impression on me is Casablanca no Tsubomi (カサブランカの蕾) by DOLCE (2017). It’s a dark, heavy NTR visual novel centered around three women: the MC’s girlfriend, another woman attracted to him precisely because he’s taken (but loses interest as soon as he breaks up), and a third woman who initially approaches him out of coercion or manipulation—possibly due to bullying—but eventually falls in love with him for real. Ironically, her route is the happiest for the MC, since his girlfriend never forgives him and becomes vindictive, while the woman who seduced him abandons him once he’s free. Only the bullied woman ends up staying with him sincerely, making her route the most emotional and bittersweet of the three.
What makes Casablanca no Tsubomi truly unique is its reversed NTR dynamic—the MC becomes the one manipulated and corrupted by other women, slowly changing despite himself. It’s not a typical NTR game at all; it’s psychological, tragic, and leaves a lasting mark. It’s the kind of story that stays in your mind long after finishing it.
As for my preferences, I personally can’t stand the kind of NTR stories where the MC turns into a “happy cuck” who shares his wife or girlfriend with other men, only for her to leave him afterward. Still, I did enjoy a couple of Netorase (consensual sharing) titles from Animu that handled the concept surprisingly well:
- 僕に抱かれ喘ぐ妻は、他の男に抱かれた話を紡ぐ2 (

In this one, the wife has lost confidence in herself, so her husband starts showing her off online to remind her that she’s still beautiful and desirable. Gradually, things escalate—she gets praised by strangers, starts posting bolder photos, and eventually meets other men selected by her husband. She doesn’t actually enjoy sleeping with others, but she does it to please him, because she genuinely loves him. Depending on the choices, the endings can change: sometimes their bond deepens, sometimes it collapses under guilt and desire. The writing balances eroticism with emotion, and it’s surprisingly nuanced for a Netorase story.
- 壁の向こうの妻の嬌声3 (

This one has a fantastic route where the wife gets blackmailed, becomes pregnant, and, out of guilt, decides to divorce her husband to avoid hurting him. If you treat her kindly and listen to her story, she eventually confesses everything—the blackmail, the pregnancy, the trauma—and the man responsible ends up arrested. It’s a dark but cathartic ending that feels earned.
- And finally, 僕に抱かれ喘ぐ妻は、他の男に抱かれた話を紡ぐ (

The wife resists at first but eventually agrees out of love, trying to make him happy. The routes vary depending on the men involved—some are respectful, others more forceful—and the endings shift accordingly. Despite the taboo nature of the premise, the game treats their relationship as genuine and explores how love can persist even under twisted circumstances.
These titles stand out because, even in their most immoral moments, they don’t lose sight of the emotional connection between the characters. Whether it’s betrayal, guilt, or misguided affection, they show that desire and love can coexist in complicated, painful, but fascinating ways.
