Yeah, I actually bought and played most of Animu’s games (except a few really old ones and some of the Netori or harem ones). So yeah, I know 凛とした最愛妻は、人知れず淫乱ら妻へと堕ちて ～他の男を受け挿れ拡げられた濡れ穴は、もう俺のモノでは埋められない～ pretty well.
I still remember struggling with Shogo Makino; that bastard keeps trying to sleep with Madoka every chance he gets.
There’s also another route with that slightly chubby woman who shows interest in the MC. Through Makino, you find out she was secretly sleeping with her teacher even while dating the protagonist. When you finally confront her, you can either divorce her or try to stay together. But she admits the sex was better with the teacher, which hits like a punch to the gut. And honestly, Madoka’s route hurts even more emotionally.
As for The Kiss Marks He Left on Her Body, yeah, there are a few strong confrontation scenes with Haruna. I counted at least two really memorable ones.
In one, you stay with her, but since she cheated, just like your mom did to your dad, you can’t bring yourself to forgive her. You refuse to sleep with her again, and even though she keeps trying, you reject her every time, almost as punishment. It turns into this cold, painful relationship.
In another, you catch her in the act with her senpai. She blames him, saying she couldn’t say no (because he was “too good”) and she claim he was too pushy with her, and If you choose to forgive her, you can later get revenge on the senpai by ruining his reputation, and there’s a H-scene where you humiliate Haruna, walking her naked around the school at night with toys attached to her body while she begs you to forgive her.
There’s also that one ending that really hurts, the one where she leaves with the senpai. After your confrontation, she cuts contact with you and act as if you didn't exist at school and work her ass off to go to the same Uni as the Sempai she now love, and later you stumble upon a livestream of the two of them having sex, happy together, while you’re still broken and can’t move on. It mirrors what happened between your parents.
So yeah, both games are pretty emotional. The Kiss Marks He Left on Her Body gives you confrontation, revenge, and bittersweet choices. The Animu games hit hard because they're well written with multiples routes and endings.

I already recommended this game more than twice in the thread, but I’m glad to see you enjoyed it too.
My only regret is that the girl is kind of dumb and lets herself get manipulated by the interloper, it really hurts the story’s credibility because of that.

I get what you mean, but I actually disagree. Even though the MC gets his revenge, he’s powerless for most of the game, and the women who mattered to him never truly understand what he went through. I really wish he had shared some kind of “crystal memories” like the ones shown to him, so they could see what he suffered during their betrayal. It would’ve made the emotional payoff much stronger if they could realize the depth of his pain and how he ended up that way.
Also, unlike HC2 and possibly HC3, the MC in Thug Hero Party isn’t an empty shell being manipulated. You could say he’s influenced by Behernicht, but at least she genuinely seems to care for him in the end. In some routes, she’s even the only woman he can actually fuck, which ironically makes her the most loyal and honest one in the whole game—right after Aina, who always trusted Imous and never once betrayed him.

Dark Hero Party was actually one of my first real experiences with the NTR genre, and honestly, if you go into it unprepared, it feels like getting slammed in the face by a door : it hurts. But despite that pain, I kept playing, hoping one of the endings would finally give me a happy conclusion with Lothia, Aina, Torii, or even the Nun. Sadly, it turned out to be nothing but an endless descent into despair, ending with a revenge route that, while satisfying, still left a bitter taste in my mouth.
If you didn’t like DHP, don’t even think about playing the spin off that focuses on Aina, because that one is pure tragedy. It’s painful to see Choum happy in it, but I still smile every time I remember crushing his damn head in DHP with a single hit : it’s the only real relief after all the torment he put us through in the sequel, where you actually play as Aina’s brother.
I’m a huge fan of U-Room and several other creators. I absolutely loved Eve of the End, and the dev told me he’s working on a remake : I can’t wait for that.
I’m also a big admirer of Rusentimento; their games are amazing, and I’ve bought several of them on DLsite.
Recently, I played one of the best NTR games I’ve ever experienced: “In by Side” by 竪穴式狸穴住居 (Tateana-shiki Manakajūkyo).

It’s a RPG Maker-like game where you play as Joff, a husband working away from home who returns to his village every weekend. Through a mysterious “vision ability,” he witnesses fragments of what his wife Mira has been doing while he’s away — and the tension slowly builds as she grows more distant, week after week. The story gradually shifts from Netorase (wife being shown off) to Netorare (wife slipping away emotionally and physically).
There are 3 different endings, over 170 H-events, and more than 190 base CGs. The storytelling is subtle and realistic — Mira’s transformation isn’t instant; it happens step by step, making it all the more believable and painful to watch.
I actually wrote a detailed Japanese review for it:

In my review, I explained that what makes this game so unique is how natural the shift feels. You return home each weekend, and each time, your wife drifts further away. But instead of exploding in anger, she becomes even more devoted, trying to make things right… only for everything to spiral into something darker.
It’s an incredibly well-written story about guilt, love, and moral decay — one of the best NTR titles I’ve ever played. I genuinely think In by Side deserves to be called a hidden masterpiece.

DHP was the reason i started to read reviews, comments and etc about the games before downloading it really fucked me up the first time that i still feel the pain when i remember it, i hate that game actually.
and as for «in by side» i have actually kind of played that game even tho i never finished it cause there were too much tension for me to handle, im haappy to see you played it too, i actually hate the mc in that game, hes such a fuckin asshole that i couldn't play the gane till the end because of him, hes even the first one to cheat in this game.

Yeah, I actually talked with the dev. He’s really specialized in NTR, so it makes sense that all his games focus heavily on psychological tension.
In In by Side, the MC’s infidelity isn’t random or born from malice. He still remembers when he saw his wife having sex with her ex-boyfriend when they were younger. That moment both aroused and frustrated him, leaving a lasting scar. He genuinely wants to be intimate with her, but she has become distant ever since he “saved” her from slavery.
As time passes and she starts working at the inn, she becomes more open and confident. She starts showing interest in lingerie and tries to please her husband again, but she eventually gets tricked by one of the guests : "the breastfold guy" who’s an expert at seduction. She ends up falling for him in a way, though her attachment to the MC comes more from gratitude than love. She feels indebted to both him and his father, who also once saved her, rather than emotionally connected to them.
After she crosses the line with the interloper, she’s no longer the same person. She doesn’t realize the MC can see everything that happened through those visions, but even when they’re together again, she looks at the other man with more warmth and affection than she ever does at her husband.
One of the men actually respects the MC and never tries to steal her completely, but by that point she’s already emotionally detached. No matter which ending you get, it feels like she’s no longer truly his wife. You could say the MC deserves it for his own mistakes, but ironically, when he finally becomes faithful again, she’s the one who goes too far—sleeping with all the men she once rejected.
It’s a heavy, painful story, but that’s exactly what makes it so fascinating.
I’ll probably wait until HC3 is fully released before diving back in. Everything that’s happened so far has been really intense emotionally, and if I were in Leto’s shoes, I’d probably break too. Watching everything fall apart piece by piece hurts, and I’d rather experience the whole story in one go when all the endings are available : especially the revenge and redemption routes.
Even though I talk a lot about NTR, I actually can’t stand “happy cuck” stories or endings where the girl leaves the MC for some ugly, pathetic interloper with zero personality. What frustrates me the most is that Leto isn’t a loser at all : he’s strong, loyal, and could easily make those women forget every one of those bastards after fucking the hell out of them once or twice.

SAME, same here. i haven't even read hc3 yet because,i never ever play any NTR without having the chance to redemption,avoid or revenge. my heart is weak to too much tension and my mind gets so frustrated at a linear story. i only have some knowledge because of this thread and a little summary i read. i really hope leto achieves what he deserves, he really deserves better than this from what i can see.
but well, nobody enjoys losing the person they love in real life i don't think there is a single person who likes that so, this games are a good way to feel the pain when the confrontations happens and the satisfaction of revenge.

play «Ntr Office» if you want, its a reallllllly short game with little to zero story actually, but the animations are very good and it has a «Chad end» that is really fun to get.
you let the girls get fucked till day 9,then you get the choice to save one of them in an alley, do it and our mc suddenly becomes a martial artist with a big ass dick and very good at sex, he even get to beat the shit out of the bull, its fun.

For some, it’s pure punishment or emotional masochism, a safe way to explore jealousy, loss, or powerlessness without real consequences. For others, it’s about catharsis or control: they need the option to redeem, avoid, or avenge to balance the emotional stress.
Fetish-wise, it often comes down to how our brains connect pain and arousal. Some are drawn to the tension itself: the mix of fear, humiliation, and lust, while others can’t enjoy it unless there’s eventual justice or healing. That’s why “redemption” or “revenge” routes feel so satisfying: they let players process the pain into closure or empowerment.
So yeah, you’re absolutely right, it’s not about enjoying loss; it’s about safely feeling what we’d never want to live through, and for some, transforming that pain into something thrilling or meaningful.

I actually played NTR Office already since I was asked to review it. I’ve gone through a ton of NTR games over the years because of my work as a reviewer and tester.
The last one I played was The Reason for Your Smile, which has four endings:
- a normal happy ending,
- one where she cheats once, confesses, and you forgive her,
- another where she cheats in secret,
- and finally, the one where she cheats repeatedly and eventually breaks up with the MC for the other guy.
The problem is, it follows that typical hentai logic where she “falls” just because the other guy has a bigger dick. She keeps saying she’ll never love him and will stay loyal to her boyfriend, but you know it’s a lie, even the interloper laughs because he knows she’ll eventually give in if she keeps letting him do it.
What always makes me laugh with these kinds of stories is how unrealistic they are. If it’s not consensual or emotionally built up, it’s hard to believe she’d genuinely fall for the other guy. Any person can improve in bed, and biologically speaking, the vagina adapts to size, unless we’re talking something really extreme.
In the end, girls like that often lose everything, once the interloper is done with her, she’s left alone, pregnant, and depressed. And ironically, the MC, being too kind, would probably still forgive her and take her back despite everything.

about what you said afterwards, you see, sex is a temporary pleasure that linger a little longer than other pleasures, you can never «fall» for a guy whos only positive point in banging the hell out of you in bed, and as you said anyone can improve in bed and many scientific researches shown that «size» doesn't matter that much that we think it matters. and if we take real life as an example, you should have way more personality than just your big ass d to be a «man», sure everyone needs to be revealed sexually, but the most important and strong aspect of a human is his brain and the emotional needs, especially women, women care about that emotional need way more than that sexual need, you can never win a girl just by sex, if you could we would have never had anything called «one night stand» cuase if you get connected by your pants,thats gg. so hentai logic fails here but, i guess you should be unlogical sometimes to keep the story going.
