Is the next update going to focus on Haylen or are we going to continue with the main story?
Personally I'm excited to see the forest tribe again, I hope that means we're going to have some scenes with the girls of the tribe, even if they are extra scenes.

That's something i'm curious about as well, somebody asked for more Haylen content a few weeks ago and N_Taii replied by saying that his plan was to make a Haylen only Update after this one, however he did also say that he might make another Poll and let his patrons decide instead so...i guess we'll see in a few days.
I welcome every bit of content that's for Haylen's storyline now that she's having sex with Jazon, but i don't know how i feel about 2 Updates in a row where the focus is entirely on 1 sidecharacter. If that poll did exist i think i'd vote either Main Story, cause i really wanna know what happened to Rose's parents and if Cyanna will catch up to Leto or not, or if not Main Story then i'd like to see an Update where we get 2 sidequests like we used to when the game was in it's early stages, 1 for Lily and 1 for Haylen.
I personally wouldn't mind if N_taii decides to focus the next update on Haylen, she and Lily are still a bit behind Cyanna and Rose in terms of scenes and corruption development so it wouldn't be a bad idea to focus a bit on them.
I have to say that I prefer the main story focused updates with Cyanna and Rose, but I know Haylen and Lily have their small group of fans who want a bit more of them.
I didn't really like Lily, but after one update (I can't remember exactly which one) I took a bit of a liking to the character. And Haylen well... she's a milf hahaha, you have to be pretty dumb not to like Haylen.
I too want to know more about Rose's parents, something tells me they have a somewhat dark and shady secret. And for me Cyanna if she will catch up with Leto, but she will surely arrive in the middle of the events. I'm curious to know what kind of excuse she will tell him hahaha.
I think at this point in the game it's almost impossible that we will see again an update where we have story with Lily and Haylen at the same time. The time it takes to make the scenes and sprites is a lot.
No. More. Polls. The perfectionist inside me is dying. Im not a fan of Lily for example, but having side caracters so far behind is a little too much.

Probably sometime around August 11th. It just came out on Patreon for the higher tier supporters who pay extra for early access; in five days, it will come out for the normal $5 supporters. Updates usually go public a month after the $5 version is out (leaving some wiggle room for IRL circumstances that might add an extra day or two)
Personally my hope is that N_Taii focuses on Rose for the next update. My view on updates is that he should focus on the main girls more often than not, with one of two side girls getting some work done each update so that there's less of a need to stop progress on the main story for a few months at a time.

I feel you. I hope n_taii reduces the amount of "female main characters".
In HC1: Nestia and Eleonora
HC2: Aywin and Celis
HC3: Haylen, Rose, Cyanna and Lily. Literally double the amount.
Rose and Cyanna are great, Haylen is the mother and milf of the story. But Lilly? At this point I still don't like her and each update focused on her development is delaying the corruption of the other characters.
Technically in all three games there have been 4 protagonist girls (well in HC 2 actually 5), only there are always two that stand out because they are the ones that carry the main story.
As you said in HC1 they are Eleonora and Hestia, while the other two are the green haired girl and the maid.
In HC 2 Aywin and Celis, the others are Neve, Solana and Thania.
And finally in HC 3 Cyanna and Rose along with Lily and Haylen.
At the beginning I also thought that in the other games the other girls were secondary, until I realized that in the reminiscence room they have their events apart from the girls that were secondary.
And in HC2 the other three also have portraits like Aywin and Celis, just like in HC3 their missions are side quests and that's why it's normal that we confuse them with secondary characters when in fact they are protagonists, they are just a little lower than the girls in the main story, In other words, we could say that they are co-protagonists, characters that have more relevance than the secondary characters, but without being on the same level as the main characters of the main story.
In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if for HC4 N_taii wants to experiment with using three girls for the main story.

Honestly, not too hot on Haylen, but I can see her appeal and I think she is a decent addition to the story overall. I wish she was more side-character, but that is personal preference and I admit that.
That being said, idk what N_Taii could do with Lily to make her exciting. She did not appeal to me from the get go, but the longer the development goes on the less interested I seem to be in her. Idk... maybe some people enjoy her and they are just not here in this thread, but I can't help but feel the same way as some other people being frustrated every time Rose/Cyanna development is halted due to focusing on Lily. Im not as annoyed when it's Haylen, because I can at least see the appeal. But idk what to do about Lily tbh.
Haven't played enough to judge update 14 fully... but I really really don't like where it's going so far.

guy, but you're wrong...kinda.The girls in the HC series can be categorized into 3 groups not 2, according to you there are the protagonists (people with portraits and personal recollection rooms), and there are the secondary characters (everyone else without a portrait (like Alys or Eddie)), but in ACKCHYUALITY the girls without portraits are categorized as "extra characters", while girls WITH portraits but no relevance to the Main Story (like Haylen and Lily) are called "secondary characters" or "side girls" as i like to call them.
Proof so that people don't think that i'm just talking out of my ass:
So Basically the hierarchy in HC3 goes like this:
Protagonists/Main Girls: Rose & Cyanna
Secondary Characters/Side Girls: Haylen & Lily
Extra Characters: Every maid, guard, priestess, barmaid and prostitute who doesn't have a portrait.

I'd argue there could even be a 4th category: the NPCs.
Technically, everyone but Leto is an NPC, but who I mean in this case are the characters who are nameless, as opposed to every extra character who at least has a name.
