I'm assuming you gave the game a low rating due to the "pitfalls" you mentioned and not because its a pixel art game? I can see why people would believe otherwise since you don't explain which pitfalls you are talking about, unless the pitfall is the lack of cg.
Giving a game a low score due to it belonging to a genre you don't like would be silly, its like leaving a bad review at an ice cream shop because you don't like ice cream.
Also, guys, let's not pester anyone who leaves a bad review.
It's nice of you to explain whats the problem about the whole thing. But that's why your last sentence makes no sense at all. Its not about a bad review itself. There are quite a bunch of bad one's for HC2 I or "we" have never pestered about. Its exactly as you elaborated just a few sentences before, why I and maybe others complained. So while I understand your sense for harmony, let us name whats right and whats wrong. There are rules in this forum and the guy didnt stick to them.
Does the MC get any laid in this game or a happy ending (even when the LI had her virginity taken by NTRguy)?

I agree, my intention was more or less to calm people down a bit before the harmony is broken. But I could have done that with a more thought out sentence, seems like I just hoped people would get the spirit of what I was trying to say with that.
edit: wait there's also the fact that people kind of jumped on him a bit because of a possible confusion, if his negative score was not due to the pixel graphics but due to the "pitfalls" then the review is mostly fine and undeserving of being jumped on. He could have been more clear though.
With time, I've learned that most bad reviews on this site are mainly written by people wanting to punish a dev for not catering to their fetish rather than to give actual constructive criticism, this one being one such example. I've also learned not to care all that much about them except for the fact that it lowers the game's ratings for little to no reason. A shame, but I can't do much.
I've written a full Q&A in the dev notes partly to avoid such reviews by properly explaining to people what they were getting into by playing the game, but I can't expect everyone to actually read that, can I?
Edit: added an extra warning about pixel art in the game description, just to be sure

The game isn't finished yet but the previous 2 titles both had the options of a happy/bad endings where the MC get's to have some fun in the bed room.
Happy ending (non-NTR ending) and revenge ending (self-explanatory) will both be implemented at the end of the game.

Cheap? Have you ever tried to make the kind of sprite animations this game has? Its not simple. And while CG is nice, I would say too many games avoid the pixel animations because its easier to just get 1 static image. I love the pixel animations and it is the biggest reason I love this series. Something like (Boy Hero Ken) that uses both is the ideal, but Id rather have the pixel animations than the static CG images most games go with.

That's what I've gathered as well, lots of people want to voice their dissapointment when a game does not cater to their kinks and are very eager to push for games to go in completely different directions than planned by the devs, because that would clearly make the game so much better objectively since they would find that hot personally!
I have personally never posted a review on any game on this site, I have given my thoughts in threads but never as a proper review with a rating.
Its so hard to judge quality in nsfw games. The lowest quality game, held together by duct-tape and bubblegum, can manage to push your buttons through some unexplainable magic, having you crave more. And at the same time the most polished games, with high production value and quality writing can be completely uninteresting even though they have all the tags that you normally enjoy.
Whatever that horny magic is, its going to be different for everyone and its really hard to judge what is worth recommend to others.

The main issue I think is that there is no Pixel CG tag so people get sort of baited by the cover. Also, its only natural that when you make a very niche game like this, that it garner some unwanted attention. Death Stranding has massive amounts of bad reviews because it catered to a very niche audience that liked that sort of game, even if it was a high quality production.
It should be said that I am not basing my review purely on the lack of drawn CG. I am also not here to flame the game but I got called out here solely for leaving a negative review, which is my honest personal take after playing both games this past month. I shall stop posting here now.

Does "at the end of the game" means at the end of Chapter 3 or at the end of the whole Henteria Chronicles series which may go beyond chapter 3?
Revenge ending sounds very promising. Like cucking NTRguy himself by seducing and impragnating his true love or leaving the cheating heroine (who had a change of heart and decided to return to the MC) alone with a child from NTRguy who is not willing to support her due to being broke.
It would be rather original for the NTRd MC to grow some backbone for once.

Reviews should not be based on your personal preference, but evaluating the product among its genre.
You can never totally exclude the bias, but you flaunt yours like its a medal.
You dont like pixel art games, great. I dont like superhero movies. You dont see me watching every single one and then leaving 1 star reviews, because they are superhero movies.
Of course, considering your posts here, I would be guessing it is more of a personal vendetta...
Oh well, cant really stop you. But don't be surprised when people call you out.

Every chapter is its own standalone story with a beginning and ending that just takes place in the same world as the others. Chapter 3 is still incomplete, but both Chapters 1 & 2 are finished and each had multiple endings.
To be honest I swore never to play your games because they hurt one's heart, but recently I was reading a manwa, omg you don't know how NTR it is, I think it gives me enough courage to play your games again, the manwa is a pain Straight to the heart, I had to stop reading it because the bad guy in that series got everything literal hahaha.
