You got it summarized pretty well. I just want to add that besides all you've mentioned for Cyanna, she's also doing this to protect Leto, or at least make sure Ulrod protects him.
As for Haylen, her deeper motivations are yet to be revealed. There's been one flashback at some point that could work as a hint, but that's all for now. Let's just sy she might be projecting a little.
I thought the whole point of the flashbacks and her ruminations were to point out she's lusted after Leto when he was younger? Isn't that the kind of takeaway we're supposed to get from all four girls? Which leads me to ask how a "good ending" works in this kind of game, do we end up happy with Rose or can we fulfill all four of them somehow in that route.

There's part of that, but also more.
As for your question about the good ending, the fact that I made sure Haylen wasn't blood-related to Leto for... "reasons" should partially answer it; )

I'm almost certain that you wouldn't want to answer it either way for risk of spoiling any of your ideas for the late game... but just to put this out there into the ether, I hope that detail might factor into the Revenge and NTR endings as well! :sneaky:

(Even if not so directly.)

On the subject of endings... can we not have a bitter sweet ending for the 'True' ending this time? Two games in a row is a bit much.

Well yes, the NTR heavy bad ending is assumed. I don't know what the point of these games would be without it.

even tho I prefer CG over pixel scenes but damn this game is the best NTR game i've played even better than scars of summer! the slow corruption of the 4 main females is so good

I'd say we're still a few updates away from things getting really good with the main girls. But once they start opening up to being a little more open/risky with their debauchery, hopefully we'll get to put the cool map and places around town to the full extent as the scenes spill out all over the place.

What im hopin to see eventually is the two native girls get corrupted. Kinda how we had the dark elf girl in HC2. Where the tough girl challenges someone to a duel, and gets fucked for losing. Still prob my favorite scene in HC2. We did get the captain and that SGT, which was great. But we didn't really get much build-up with her and Leto beforehand.

For the next update I'm hoping for a mix of Rose enjoying getting head and her eventually "willingly" returning the favour. It feels early for the Duke to bring other people into their sexual activities simply because Rose isn't that corrupted yet and the Duke should be worrying about his position and Rose's reputation as until he actually seizes royal power his control is tenuous at best. What I'm expecting is for Rose to either be hidden somewhere watching the Duke get a blowjob from a maid and she winds up giving him one afterwards, or something to that effect where Rose's participation in said sex act is passive and excusable as wrong place wrong time or simply unnoticed. To do anything other than that seems premature.

Curious what’s everyone’s thoughts so far in HC3 compared to HC2. I loved some the scenes in HC2 and dark and gritty it was

I think that I preferred the setting of Chapter 2, where the changes and corruption felt particularly pronounced. I feel like it's inevitable that we will get more of that in Chapter 3 as spaces like the church and Cyanna's apartment become 'hot spots' of activity, but as impressive as the city is scale-wise and how great it looks, I think it just has a much less personal connection.

As far as the characters go... Both Rose and Cyanna both manage to capture different aspects of what was attempted with Celis in Chapter 2 for me, but do it much better this time in a way that doesn't feel quite as frustrating as it did with Celis & Edwyr, because both of the ladies this time have their own personal reasons for choosing to participate so far instead of just being unbelievably credulous to the point of comedy.

I think that I still prefer Aywin slightly over Haylen just because she had a stronger prologue which felt more natural instead of just being specifically framed as a brief introduction... but it's a very close call. More than anything, I just wish there had been a little more tension established between Haylen and Leto, along the lines of that one scene where he accidentally walks in on her in the bathroom. Without the sting of actually being related, I can't help but feel like there needed to be something a little more to make up the difference.

Lily is the odd one out for me, as I've said quite a few times, where I just can't seem to shake the feeling of her being the most expendable one story-wise. Out of everyone, I think she has the weakest NTR vibe because you never get that many scenes early on of Leto having any real chemistry or connection to her other than the fact that she is just part of the group automatically and "jokingly" says out loud what the others are thinking privately to themselves.

Now, the villains are the one area where I think Chapter 3 is a massive improvement. I enjoyed Zeno and Edwyr at the beginning, but over time, they became a lot less interesting to me. By the end of Chapter 2, the story really dipped into some "tell, don't show" territory with Zeno in particular, trying to overexplain his actions and recast him in some tragic light that didn't quite land for me. But the Duke has been a wonderful villain so far by comparison, where the story seems perfectly okay to show that he is a genuine bastard, but doesn't need to be one 24/7 in every single situation.

Admittedly, I did enjoy "Brutus" a lot more in the beginning, before he turned into Ulrod and revealed his backstory with Cyanna. There is a bit of an awkward lull at the moment due to the pacing of the game's corruption, but I have faith that it could pick back up once Ulrod isn't stuck being so passive with her.

Jazon... is complicated. I like him a lot more than Edwyr, but his approach to corrupting Haylen isn't hitting nearly as hard as it should. It's like his character is being pulled in three completely different directions: of him being this insatiable horndog who chases after everything with a skirt, who hides that around Haylen by pretending to be a gentleman... but then also manipulates her by acting more like a naive boy who is less mature than Leto. You could pull off any two of those, but going for all of them at once makes it feel a bit convoluted.

Just like with Lily, Naevyr is there. That's about the most I can say, because it's hard to come up with any useful critiques for him. He's the Belanor of this game in my eyes, but not nearly as long-winded, so he's way more tolerable. But that doesn't lend him any sort of appeal, either.

Overall, one thing I really do miss from Chapter 2 is that sense of ambient hostility in the village. We've seen some early implications that all of the antagonists from Chapter 3 are connected in some way to the spooky cult, and that they are trying to corrupt Leto's loved ones as part of some evil scheme... but it's still pretty vague, and leaves them feeling mostly disconnected.

But with the village in Chapter 2, it had a much more tangible sense of Zeno simply throwing a match onto the massive pile of tinder that had already been built up with the other men. That he didn't just corrupt them out of nowhere with the potions; the potential was always there from the beginning, and the only thing he needed to do was give them a nudge to reveal their true, abusive selves.

It definitely felt darker in tone, and I hope that Chapter 3 might lean into that a bit more beyond what we can assume the current progression will look like.

Making detailed outlines of what's acceptable content in the upcoming update seems premature
It's called having a conversation, bub, I suggest you either learn how to do it or become a recluse.

I'd say Rose and Cyanna work better than Cellis for a couple pretty simple reasons. First, neither of them are any more special than their specific roles indicate. Cellis role in the story overall was fairly mediocre by pure virtue of the fact that you find her inside a tree in a magic stasis crystal and her identity is left secret until damn near the very end of the game. The fact that she's the daughter of a Valkyrie corrupted by hate, rage, and grief that is put into a magic sleep doesn't become relevant until the deus ex machina that leads Noah down his final paths. We're told she's stronger than the average person but we never really see it in a way that matters and after the tree discovery we're never shown anything else to indicate her heritage until the end. Whereas with Rose and Cyanna we know that Rose does have a special position but she's still an average young woman with wants, needs, and insecurities, and with Cyanna we know she's very talented but she's still got deep seated issues with jealous, self esteem, and guilt.

The second reason is that Cellis is as deep as a kiddie pool. After they find her in the tree her story can be boiled down to "I don't know who I am, but holy shit do I love bacon." and it stays that way until the time skip. After the time skip her character is little more than "I love Noah but I have absolutely no faith in him... Ooooh a dick." At no point does Cellis ever develop her own agency, she is reliant on others for the entire story. Whereas Rose and Cyanna do have more depth to their characters. Rose wants to fulfill her role as princess and eventually queen, but she also wants freedom. There's the standard "Princess who sacrifices what she wants for what she must do." trope here, but it's a trope that works. With Cyanna she's motivated by guilt and is obviously jealous of Rose and Leto which makes her a more well rounded character, she's got overt flaws to go alongside her positive traits. Whereas with Cellis her only flaw as a character was her inability to put faith Noah, which made her difficult to take seriously because she'd be all "Oh no, but I love Noah I can't betray him!" on a regular basis and then she'd betray him emotionally, physically, and literally multiple times throughout the game. Rose and Cyanna have centre points upon which they rotate... Cellis did not.

So guys, i have a question regarding the pixel modelation of the characters. On chapter 2 one thing that really bugged me out was the fact that every female character had the same body, like there is a girl thats suposed to be flat and her charater model had the exactly same breast size of every other girl, its was just an different skin color. Thats quite sad once the focus of the game is the pixel art and everyone has the same body. So, spoken this, does on chapter 3 this change ?

Chapter 3 has more variety of character sprites, but the basic, side characters do not necessarily share in that. I think N_Taii mentioned having a set of sprites lacking character specific details that he used to build the more basic sex scenes and I also recall there being mention of varying breast sizes but I can't say for certain as I don't have a memory for such things.

That said the sprites work in HC3 is much more detailed than HC1 and 2. The characters are larger and feature more obvious variety in their appearance, one of the main five cast members is noticeably shorter than the rest so there is definitely more variety. For the most part the bodies are unique.
