I really dont understand silent mc in ntr games. What sense making ntr game where protagonist is not existent?
Silent protag means all scenes without him are better since you can read actual dialogue instead, making him genuinely off putting in comparison to everyone else.
The game would be better if the mc was removed.
Since the player hates the mc it feels good to see him being cucked I guess is the intention.

you're assuming the player hates the MC which most people don't. The Mc usually does nothing wrong and the real punch of the game is how you can do everything right and still loose everything you hold dear because other people aren't as nice as you.

better a quiet character than hear all the stupidity he would have to say in order to make sense of why he has not even become suspicious of things...

As of right now the official "estimate" by N_Taii is between 20 to 25 Updates, i don't know where you heard 12 but i'm pretty sure HC3 was planned to be longer than HC2 from the get-go and since HC2 was 16 Updates long, i don't think 12 ever crossed N_Taii's mind.

As for the side question, it's tough to say, the saves provided to HC2 are a bit messy when it comes to the recollection room, at least they were the last time i checked, as far as i know you can't find a save file where EVERY scene is unlocked so if you wanna see all of the extra scenes i think you might have to replay the whole game.
Try asking for a save file where everything is unlocked on the HC2 thread, maybe someone's got the file you're looking for.
it could probably be found by looking at my posts here. or quotes, since i remember it from N_taii itself but that wont change the current number of remaining updates. I just think that reading the story in pieces made me enjoy HC2 less. so I decided to wait with this one.

This makes absolutely no sense.

I kinda dig silent protag but there comes annoying part from it: the other characters parroting his words so we can understand what exactly he said. I understand it's for players understanding but kinda breaks immersion when everyone repeat what he says.

I'll be honest, Author - I like you better. As a Writer. Your story is truly great. Corruption is justified.
Rose is a princess, and the Duke helps her maintain power, while legally demanding her share in this matter.
Cyanna looks a little сynical. Leto has long belonged to Rose. And Cyanna must come to terms with it. But no. A drunk kiss ruins their childhood friendship. At the same time, they do not want to disclose this incident, thereby adding even more fuel to the fire. At the same time, she gives up her body for the use of someone whom she had considered dead for a long time, but immediately fell for his tricks, upset that she would not be with Leto. Honestly. I'm on Rose's side.
Heylin. Unsatisfied nun. The one who became responsible for the fact that the poor Jason was kicked out of the House. The one who deliberately set Jason up for Sex with his Aunt, the wife of his Uncle, who caught them, and accordingly kicked him out. And so, filled with guilt and the fact that Jason wanted to corrupt her, she broke down and gave herself to him.
Lily. Honestly, we could have done without it. But it's your story, and it's up to you to decide. An orphan who wants to prove her usefulness, and is ready to do anything for this. Even for a fall.
Your story is simply beautiful Author. I would really like to support, but due to circumstances I cannot. I'm really sorry. All me have to do is wait for a new update of your masterpiece. You are the best Pixel developer I've ever seen.

Silent protagonists are an outdated concept that I don't think have a place in modern gaming, but Leto does have some limited speech in the form of the colour coded questions. We do also occasionally see his thoughts, so he's not completely mute. With that in mind I think the NTR would be more effective if he spoke.

In Netorare a silent Main Character can serve 2 purposes.

1. To act as a self insert for the player.

2. To act as a device that allows us to view the corruption/loss of the girls.

I dont think it has anything to do with hurting feelings, in fact I would say its the opposite, when the MC is silent we are free to interpret their emotions of them however we choose; Maybe he likes watching, maybe he is hurting on the inside, maybe he is torn between his love and his anger? When you have a talking/personality filled MC, we dont really connect with them since we are just playing them like a videogame character.

I loved the outfits N_taii very nice I gotta ask question how do feel about pantyhose do you like heroine with pantyhose would you ever consider it an outfit?
Why not? Pantyhoses, fishnets, they're all pretty hot. This isn't a promise though, I'm just saying I'm not against the idea : )

how many more updates before it is done. I remember not liking playing HC2 by pieces, and when I asked on this tread a long time ago, it was planned to be over around update 12. I plan to buy it once it is finished. also a bit of a side question if I buy HC2 are the extra scenes easily accessible or do I have to replay the game?
I know this has been answered before, but as other people have mentioned too, I'd say at least above 20 updates. My best guess would be between 20-25 updates.
As for HC2, if I remember well, you won't have to replay everything. There is a save provided that takes you right before the endings. Once you have completed one of them (I'd recommend doing the NTR one, because I don't remember if its scenes are unlocked if you do another ending) talk to the NPC in the reminiscence room to unlock everything. So you have to do one of the endings and that's it.

If I wanted to avoid hurting the NTR haters' feelings, I wouldn't be making an unavoidable NTR game, would I? Sounds slightly counterproductive^^
The silent MC is a concept I took from NTRPG, which is my inspiration for the HC games. It works a bit like those usual harem animes/games, where the MC has a bland personality on purpose so viewers/players can easily self insert. Here, not only is the MC's personality rather unexceptional, he also doesn't have any words. Since my games not only attract fans of NTR, but also people who don't have any strong feelings towards NTR but merely enjoy the corruption/maledom aspects, it helps them position themselves outside or inside the NTR by identifying or not with Leto/Noah(HC2)/Casio(HC1) if they wish to.

I think ntaii said it would be too much for each and every outfit etc.

But I do hope we will perhaps get at least 1 or 2 bigger changes, as the corruption reaches high points. Like perhaps a different hairstyle, makeup etc.
Makeup is in the works for Rose and Cyanna in the new update, although Dyun (the illustrator) is so busy it might not make it in the next update but in the one after that. Kinda sucks, but there's nothing I can do about it.

Been there since HC1 Ver3, but it's the first time i post anything, and i'm only posting to say thank you, dev, for being one of the best devs out there. HC is one of the best ntr series i have ever played (and trust me, i do play a lot) and that last update, dealing with Haylen's side story, was amazing. That's it, just plain encouragement words from me. See ya.
(Haylen best girl).
Wow, you've been there for over 4 years then, thanks for sticking with the game, and thanks for the kind comment ; )

That's something I've been trying to tone down lately, but only in situations that don't really require knowing what Leto said.

I think it would make sense at least for the outfits where the upper part of their body changes, especially the hairstyles (Rose with ponytail , Cyanna with open hair ).

That's something I've been trying to tone down lately, but only in situations that don't really require knowing what Leto said.
I think a good way to do that is responses that include part of the information. Things like "You're right, we COULD actually do [insert core information here]. Why haven't I thought of that?". Or "Wait, what do you MEAN [insert information here]? Isn't that a bit extreme?".

But it's really hard to find that for every situation. Also I can imagine it requires you to map out the general response of Leto in words and then just not writing them in. Which..... damn. (If that is the case it might make sense to - in the future, next game or smth, have an option that lets MC have a few lines of dialogue. Like and on/off switch, like a preference if you will. Can ask right after the intro. Make him a protagonist with actual lines in the intro (but keep the lines sparse), then ask the player: "There is the option to let the protagonist speak a few lines here and there. He will not have a lot of dialogue, but this option is here for people who would prefer it over a totally silent protagonist: I want a silent MC! or Let the man talk.).

Anyway, back from the tangent. The positive for this (actually mapping out responses) is tho that the internal logic of the scene will probably work better long term if you map it out and can actually imagine the protag saying something in the dialogue that makes sense in the given situation and is plausible. So yea. Cool stuff.

Silent protagonist are not an outdated concept. They are a choice, you not liking them does not make them outdated Silent characters have advantages over voiced ones, it just depends on the style of writing. I have played NTR with both types of characters and both work, but for these types of RPG maker games I would rather have a silent one.

A silent protagonist has no advantages over one that can speak. None.

And I see you are not here for a discussion. Then let me mark it down for you. Your opinion has been heard and acknowledged. I now move on.

I think you should be There rather than here.

We see & understand that you'd prefer that the Developer put their words in the mouth & mind of the character that represents you in the game, instead of letting you use your imagination to do such yourself. And you're welcome to that opinion.

But there are other people than just yourself who play the game, and they may be willing to spend the effort needed to use their own imaginations to give that character their voice instead, so they can better immerse themselves in the game.

So from their point-of-view, there are advantages to having a silent protagonist over one that speaks (with the Developer's voice).

Just finished the update (still need to win last two card battle games) but this was fantastic. Even Lily my least favorite character you find a way to make her story compelling. Major props, I will be sending support on Patreon.
