At some point will we see N_taii exploring with other types of characters or genres for their games ?
Recently a developer that I follow a lot, public that he is working on a short game of a genre that didn't call his attention before but that he has been curious to experiment for a while now.
It wouldn't necessarily have to be a vanilla game (I think it would be kind of weird to play a N_taii game that isn't NTR hahaha).
Can you imagine a HC with characters like for example furrys (although I think it would be a headache for the artist to make a sprite like that haha).
Also, we have to keep in mind that due to Patreon restrictions, N_taii won't be able to experiment with certain genres (like Loli or Shota), or simply because they don't catch his attention.

In terms of Genre, i'm pretty sure that the Corruption/NTR theme is gonna stay the core of N_Taii's games, so are the pixel graphics if you ask me, but i can see N_Taii making a game that's separate from the Henteria series. I'd love to see a steampunk or even a modern style game but the problem with those is that compared to the medieval setting where it's mostly just nature with the exception of a few houses here and there, a game that's set in a steampunk era has a MUCH denser enviroment, therefore it takes more time to create maps for it, or so i would imagine, after all i've never made maps of any kind.
As for your furry comment...as long as there is corruption and NTR involved i'm pretty much in, but i don't know how i'd feel about spending money on a game that has Furries in it, or i guess i do...so i REALLY hope that N_Taii isn't wired that way.

For example a middle aged MC with a wife and 1 or 2 daughters, i guess the Mom/Sister theme could stay as well, but since the mc is a middle aged man here, the mom would be more like a younger grandma and the sister would basically be the middle aged aunt to your daughter(s) with a family of her own.

I would assume it's probably the latter, because Patreon's restrictions are... wildly inconsistent to say the least. When you have games like The Curse of Pleasure, Claire's Quest, and The Legend of Queen Opala: Origin surviving on there just fine for years despite blatantly violating a good number of those restrictions, I feel like Henteria would have a particularly easy time getting away with it given that pixel sprites endow it with an enormous amount of ambiguity.
But there is still always that risk of Patreon singling one creator out, no matter how unlikely it might be. And to N_taii, that might just not be worth the risk when balanced against the benefits of dipping into those waters. Which is a shame, because I personally would have ~loved~ that being part of Haylen's sidequest — that instead of Jazon as a direct rival to Leto as he currently is in the story, she might have taken in a new orphan in the same way that she originally did with Leto and Cyanna — but it's also a perfectly understandable concern to have when the series has already been so successful.
Actually the furry was just an example (it was the first thing that came to my mind XD) it can be any kind of character that can be well adapted to the HC world (and that doesn't require a lot of work when making their Sprites).
A Steampunk game would be interesting, but as you say it requires a lot of work for aesthetics and map density; maybe making another game in the modern era like Merry h-mas would be the best option.
In that you are right, there are some projects on Patreon that in theory violate the restrictions of the page and they are still there. In the same way, they deleted accounts that had very good projects and they did follow the rules; so we can conclude that in the end the Patreon restrictions are a joke.
It's also true that HC is a pixel-based game so maybe it can get rid of some restrictions, but I don't think N_taii wants to take that risk; besides, if I remember correctly one of N_taii's future plans is to distribute HC also on Steam, and that platform also has very strict restrictions on hentai games.
Is this game planned on being shorter than HC2? I feel like I saw that somewhere on this sub but I just wanna confirm

Mhm, that was the point I was attempting to make, but it might've gotten muddled with my little tangents there! That it's not just a matter of being against the rules and that's the end of the story, but whether it would be worth the risk. Even if it's like a 3% chance of getting banned from Patreon, that's still a pretty significant ask from someone who might not be particularly interested in having that content in the first place for more personal reasons.
Which gets even more confusing when you look games like Summer Memories or TRATRITLE being readily available on Steam, when neither of them make even the slightest attempt to disguise the main character's implied age. Not to present that as an argument of why N_taii should do it because of those examples, but just that it truly is a nightmare to navigate those boundaries regardless of which platform you choose.
From what I understand HC3 will be a bit longer, although the story is progressing very fast, N_taii at some point said he plans for HC3 to have 18-20 updates.
Well, anyway, in the end N_taii is the one who decides whether to implement this type of characters in the game or not.
I don't have any strong opinion on where the next game should be. Magic word? Modern one? What races and so on. There's still a lot of time left to have any preference/ideas.

Point i want to make, some new strategies would be nice. In this example how the girls are actively acclerating/helping in the corruption of other girls. An older mc. Or the non-linear corruption (three girls fallen low enough to help corrupting the 4th one who is still uncorrupted).

Personally I'd be delighted if N_taii made one of the heroines a beast race, be it wolf or catgirl or something more exotic in the next game. So far we saw pretty basic humanlike races like elves and halflings/dwarfs or what is Lily's race called I forgot. I didn't see that many netorare about beastgirls on this site so this might be a nice change in girl variety.

It all comes down to if people report it. It just takes one dumb idiot to ruin things. The only reason Patreon cares, is because the banks care, because people bitched at the banks and credit card companies. Some games get through because no one reported them. However when you get too popular and you are releasing new stuff constantly, you are likely to piss somebody off, and they report you. stupid shit man.
The general rule of thumb with patreon is that it's a "don't rock the boat" system. So long as you're not doing anything particularly heinous they're probably going to ignore it until someone reports it. A lot of games have incest in them and it's not lampshaded at all as roommates or your mom's friend's kids and so on. They get away with it because no one reports them. You can get away with damn near anything so long as it's fairly innocuous and no one reports you.
I've seen games get away with blatant loli content but they get away with it because they don't specify and patreon doesn't care so long as no one reports it. If there's a major porn game on here that has devs that indicate a desire to get on Steam but you never see it happen it's probably because something that patreon ignored keeps it from happening. I don't recall the game but it's a solid game all around with an actual story, gameplay, and plenty of content but one of the three women in it is clearly intended to be 13-14 no matter how much the game claims she's over 18 and Steam refused to allow it on the service as a result. If Patreon had been paying attention or anyone reported it then you can be sure she'd have shown up an update or two later with larger tits and a scene where she's all "I'm 18, Austin! I've been 18 this whole time, Austin!"

There's a recent thread in the dev forum of someone who just had their page terminated because the MC and his "landlady/caretaker" looked extremely similar and had some kind of mother-son relationship, although it was never stated they were family. Still, that was enough for Patreon to take down the page.

That is the question", and Fenoxo and Savin are still going strong on there.

So basically Patreon's restrictions apply whenever it feels like it. I can imagine something like that in the Patreon review department:
Dude1: Hey look, this game contains a lot of sexual violence, abuse, underage girls and its main plot is about raping everything with a hole in it, do you think we should ban it?
Dude 2: Nah, it's fine
Dude 1: This other one has a nice happy story, but at the beginning it has some rape although it's not mentioned.
Dude 2: Banned
I think I now understand why several creators consider Patrón's rules a joke and look for other platforms.
Steam at least in most cases does enforce the rules, and as you say they may not accept the game just for that reason. DLsite I think would be the best option, but that site is mostly for the eastern audience (China, Japan, Korea, etc.). I think Fanbox also updated their policies recently, but I don't think they would ban the game considering there are worse things on that platform XD.
I don't know if in the future you plan to include Loli/Shota or a bit stronger content in your games, but independently I think it would be a good idea to look for another alternative to Patreon because you never know when you might have a tantrum and get a wake up call.
What does it hurt to try? If it doesn't cost you any money to apply you might as well give it a shot. Who knows, maybe there's a large market for pixel based cucking on Steam.
If everything goes according to how it should be... a month from whenever the first release of the next update happens. The next update should release within the next two days, so if all things are equal and no one gives out the update early... probably the 13th or 14th of December. Realistically, though, the update will probably leak when the lower tier supporters get it which would be five days after the release to the higher tiers. So basically you're looking at between a week to a month give or take a day.
