The routes will diverge closer to the end. No matter what choices you make the bulk of the story will always follow the same path with no changes until a point very late in the game where the story splits and you get a different ending based on your choices.
Ah ok that's what I was thinking as well when I saw the gallery. It is so long that I didn't want to try the other choices and go back through.

Are there any other games like this with ntr specifically?

I absolutely love Triple Triad, it's the only reason I ever replay FFVIII... but I don't touch it at all in HC3 for two primary reasons. First, I don't like mini-games in porn games. I enjoy story in them, art, writing, animations... but mini-games? Fuuuuck no. Second, part of the appeal of Triple Triad is the aesthetic and music and N_Taii didn't succeed in replicating that.

Spiral Legend
How is Spiral Legend? I've taken a look at it a couple times before and never committed to play it because I'm looking for porn, not a bad RPG with porn attached to it. A big chunk of why I like the HC games is the lack of combat.

Fr, It's HC with more focus on rpg than porn, but it's a huge grind to get to the porn, it's an epic story that's worth it, but I understand those who don't like it because they find it too long.
However, there are two heroines who are a bit anything, at least I didn't care much about them.

You mentioned HC2, all their actions literally should've turned noah into a monster a monster the village should've had to come face to face with, we didn't necessarily get, oh we got a monster alright but that required divine intervention, one that also ultimately betrayed him in the end and he still stuck with her.
HC2 spoiler in the reply:

Non-spoiler part:
I think revenge endings are more impactful in stories where the MC is not extremely naive and also not with an ultra hardcore virgin behavior. For example, when the MC actually try at least some moves with the girl(s), but ends up losing them not only by story events, but also because he can't satisfy them as much as the villain, or something similar... But brainless and zero-initiative guys like Leto? Nah, so far I don't see any hope or expect anything, lol.

But characters like him are common. It's a Japanese anime/manga culture thing, afaik. I remember hating Kazuya, from the Freezing anime, even more than I hate Leto...

Nice update 16. Not exactly what I expected, but liked the Rose parts.
Not sure what to say about that .... other plot thread, the one Leto discovered.

I disagree. I believe these stories are more impactful when the main character (MC) is naive or a "goody two-shoes" who puts too much faith in the people around them. This approach allows for multiple themes to unfold, especially after the MC discovers the truth. It highlights the destruction of innocence, the impact of corruption, and the consequences of misplaced trust.

In almost all of these NTR stories, if the main girl would simply communicate with the MC, they might find a way to resist or overcome the situation. However, instead, she chooses to hide the truth and betray the MC repeatedly. By the time her actions are revealed, she is often either too far gone to care or offers a half-hearted apology, claiming she never wanted to hurt the MC—usually while continuing the betrayal.

This is often the breaking point for the MC. In most NTR narratives, this revelation sends the MC into a spiral of depression, sometimes leading to suicidal thoughts or transforming them into someone who accepts the betrayal and chooses to stay with the girl regardless. However, there’s a third breaking point where the MC stops caring altogether and decides to retaliate violently.

This third path is the most compelling for a brave, pure-hearted MC. It unleashes all the suppressed negative emotions they never knew they had, manifesting in a raw, uncontrolled, and destructive way. In this transformation, the MC becomes a monster forged by the very woman who claimed to protect him.

Ntrpg 1-2

MH:Skybride by ZzZz but sadly for the amount of work put into it it's kinda meh.

Literally everything by Agunosutosu; d.p, nettle pain, Childhood Friend Cucked - Tiria is an Obedient Sex Slave, Black fetal movement,

then there's The Corruption of the Village [v0.4.6] [Inatari Tales] but that's not pixel art.

Motherfucker's been cucking me since June with the release of , first he said that the game is coming out in late June or early July, then when that didn't happen he made another post saying that he forgot about the recollection room (??????) so July is unlikely, and after that he decided to copy Attack on Titan and name every single one of his posts "Final".

I've brought up the issues with the revenge endings in the past and gotten a response from N_Taii about it. He basically stated that he has a hard time committing to the revenge endings because he doesn't like mistreating his characters, specifically the women, which is why the women never seem to get punished in the revenge endings. Their circumstances have more or less remained what they would have been if the MCs hadn't usurped the villains in both previous HCs. In two games and eight women only Aywin really wound up in a worse situation than she otherwise would have been and that's only because Patreon doesn't allow incest, and even then she's still getting all the dick she could possibly want and is enjoying herself.

What I'd like to see for the revenge ending in HC3 is relatively simple. I want Leto to actually take revenge. Update 16 reveals that the Peacekeepers eat the emotions and mental capabilities of people for power. I'm hoping that N_Taii follows through with the Chekhov's Gun he has shown us and has someone sacrificed to the Peacekeepers in the endings. In a potential revenge ending Leto should bare minimum sacrifice the duke and Ulrod, and then if he actually turns truly villainous anyone who questions him. N_Taii has set the stage for actua, factual, brutal revenge... but I don't think he'll do it.

In HC2, the happy ending felt the least satisfying of the three, though revenge left a little to be desired as well. A big part of that is the game ignores that the women are also villains in the story and never adequately redeems them in the eyes of the player/reader. Being willing to bear punishment is part of showing sincerity, and none of the women in HC2 seemed to really show any regret for their past actions.

The game thinks that we want to see Noah have a good time, but in reality, even more than that, we want to see evil get punished. In this regard, the happy ending would have benefited from more scenes of the women attempting to "Make it up" to Noah with Noah slowly coming around and learning to trust again. Instead, we get a time skip where everything goes back to normal, as if the heinous betrayals never happened and the main character never got mind broken. He's just magically okay and the girls never actually address or properly deal with the past. It had a very "it was all just a bad dream" feeling which made it feel unresolved and unsatisfying.

I don't want to see the women in HC3 suffer physically, be killed, or thrown in jail. But I would like it if they at least had a "repentance" arc to try and win back the favor of the player. Aside from Rose, who is comically evil (IMO a true happy ending is one where Leto gets as far away from her as possible LOL), the other girls are redeemable in my eyes and I think any satisfying ending would have them go through some mental pain of their own, maybe even reluctance from Leto at reconciliation at first and then an eventual softening of his heart after he sees their pain and sincerity. I don't think Leto's love for the girls needs to be a given, he shouldn't forgive easily. Grief is the proof of love, as they say. So if he easily forgives and trusts again, it cheapens the emotional impact.

I'm not trying to be too critical, the games are enjoyable and very well done overall. I'd just like to leave the happy ending actually feeling a little happier!

My go to answer to what should happen to the women is that the punishment should suit the crime. I'm not suggesting that someone start smacking them around but if Rose is going to cheat on Leto then she deserves to suffer the results of her actions. So far Rose has settled into regular sex with the duke, occasional lesbian sex with his maids, she provided handjobs, blow jobs, and thigh jobs to two pirates, and she gave a cranky old man a handjob. Rose is sitting at six partners so far, which is more than the rest of the women combined. Her "I'm doing it to power the peacekeepers and to protect my people" nonsense stopped being true at least three people ago, especially after 16 where she had no reason to let the old dude touch her tits and even less of a reason to give him a handjob. Rose is well past the point of acting like an actual slut.

When the dust settles her "happy ending" should be something along the lines of ruling alone with no one who loves her forced to watch her former friends and the man she cheated on move on with their lives and be happy, with only random dick or pussy to provide her with solace. So she'll suffer no violence, rape, or bodily harm... but she does wind up alone without the people she made her so called sacrifices for, which to me is a fitting ending. That's the kind of punishment I want to see. To me the happy ending should apply primarily to Leto as opposed to the women.

If we think about it carefully, the duke has already built in her mind the idea that the best way to respond to problems is by using her body, so she has already stopped thinking carefully, and has simply moved on to the fastest line of thought she can reach to solve a problem, which is the one already mentioned above, so for me a happy ending would be one where she realizes the stupid preconceived idea that has been put in her mind and wakes up to see all the idiotic things she has done simply by not looking for an alternative solution to things, and that she somehow seeks to redeem herself in the eyes of the protagonist, also keep in mind that she is supposed to be royalty but she has no power as such, all of her supposed loyal vassals literally did nothing for her, their parents died or that is what they made everyone think and they did nothing for the daughter of the supposed best and beloved rulers that Lumina has had, and they let the duke take power, and the few friends she has are They are all commoners, and in my opinion in their minds there is not much they can do about problems involving the nobility.

I wouldn't go so far as to punish her so that she lives the rest of her life alone in the escape of lust without any love or affection whatsoever towards her as a person.

Of course, for a happy ending, if they're going to make Rose redeem herself in the eyes of the protagonist in the same way that Celis did in HC2, where she sees the protagonist walking away into the night, follows him to give him some food along the way and says, "Hey, I know I've been wrong and that you've seen me having sex with your cousin and your uncle, and that every time you've tried to fix problems for everyone, mom and I have been the cause of it failing because of our stupidity, but let me help you one last time," what an empty line of thinking XD

I would like for others to give their opinion, I think that in the happy ending of HC2, they would have followed a line where Noa sought to save More, and turn her into a good goddess, because shit the truth is that I did feel really bad for her, all she had when she came into the world was the sadness and loneliness that her mother was dealing with, and the whole reason on which she based her existence was to get revenge on the people who caused all that pain to her mother, while her sister Celis had the opposite, she had all the love of her mother and a happy family to grow up with, so I think they could have given More a better ending, one where she is saved from all that darkness in which she lived by Noa and ended up with him, shit that would have been a happy ending.

Proof of Life #247: Things are heating up + early public release of Update 16

Hello everybody, put your hands up!... or down, I'm not your mom. Anyway, how are you doing in this fine morning/afternoon/evening? It's getting super cold here, and the wind's constantly howling, but telling the story of our protagonists spending their time under the sun is helping warm me up a little~

As you can see, the beachside mansion is now complete, and a few things are happening in it already, but I'm still missing the animations for Lily and Haylen, which should be coming shortly.

I think I finally have all the maps for this update finished, which means I can really focus on content now. I'm over halfway done with Cyanna's first scene, and I've got a few ideas on how this whole update will play out. Even though it'll be a bit more light-hearted than the previous update, there will still be some heavy stuff here and there that'll help progress the corruption.

There probably won't be any freeroams for this Update, as I'm already adding plenty of small stuff happening in the background, especially with Lily and Haylen. If I had to add freeroams as well, I'd never be done^^ If I do though, it'll be two at most. I'm also pondering whether I should make this whole beach vacations span over two updates or keep it all in one update. Or I could add it in one update and a half, with the second update having an extra side-quest as well? I'll have to think about it.

Btw, Update 16 is now available to the public a bit earlier. You can get it here:

I'll see you again next week

Thank you for reading, and have a wonderful week!

N_Taii

I'm a big fan of his, but every time I read this I think about how big the NTR gap is between Japanese and Western devs, that's really ridiculous to read lmao.

That's my biggest fear of HC3, personally bad endings are the worst thing that can happen in a game, I'm not the “journey is what matters” type, especially in a game that I'm so invested in, I was left with a bitter taste for weeks after my ending in HC2, I hope I don't get NTRed again.

You hope you're not going to get NTR'd again in a game where you've already been NTR'd repeatedly? I hope you've been picking the right colour when the ending choices pop up then...
