I'd say the AI animations I am doing are better then the non-AI animations I had sprinkled in the game prior (but you're entitled to your opinion).
Faces are the main things that get distorted with AI and I will try to avoid doing faces until that improves.
I'd love to get my hands on a 5090 so the quality increases as well. I am trying to use these short animation to enhance certain scenes and I am learning in the process.

You'll be fine, I've streamlined choices so you would have to really not be paying attention to get yourself locked out of a path.

Use URM and Universal Choice Descriptor and you are good for 99% of renpy VNs and you never have to wait for mods.

The AI animations are good and added another level to this VN imo, sure it's not perfect but it's definitely been an improvement.

Having said that, AI could give these people a blowjob that they would still complain it didn't tickle their balls.

This one was particularly good
I think the experimentation has been a net positive.
Things will always change and evolve.

If i am to be honest, the normal (non AI)animations in Her Desire look fairly stiff.
So even when the AI stuff has some flaws i appreciate the fluidity and range of motion that is possible in them.

I was kinda disappointed that Brody playing with Chloe's titty was done in the old style
I was looking forward to a hungry man going to town on the boobies

I think one of the strengths of this game is that it's so easy to completely avoid content that doesn't appeal to you. Not playing routes with certain fetishes does shorten the game a bit but hardly seems a reason to avoid the game.
