You're not alone there bud, it's one of the causes why in these type of games I end up going on a full Lesbian route, which is one of the main reasons why this game is one of the most I've enjoyed of this "genre". Female characters tend to respect MC a whole lot more and don't treat her only as some sort of trophy, prize or piece of meat. I've been so creeped out and felt so much cringe with many storylines with sons/stepsons that I just don't want to have anything to do with them anymore. It's true that Parker here is one of the few exceptions and he's easier to deal with, but I'm still not a fan.
A bit of the same with the couples that MCs tend to have since the beginning, they're always perverts, cucks, neglectors of their partners' needs or just blatant as*holes, and it really makes me furious when you're forced to bear with them and not be able to break up or dump them. Again, Brody is not too bad, but I'm still not a fan of certain aspects and I don't enjoy my MC(Amber) being married to a cuck, even though it serves as a perfect "excuse" for her to do as she pleases.
In my ideal AVN there's no double standard and married couples are willingly open couples without anyone being a cuck nor a traitor nor an abuser...
...but this seems to be still a minority opinion among the men that play AVNs. 75%-80% consider a dishononr ( CUUUUUCK!!! ) for a man if his wife has more partners... even if he does the same!

And yet those games so rarely seem to show any differences between the personalities and preferences within those groups. All men are domineering assholes (except for the cucks, who are subhuman), and all women are gentle introverts (unless they're dyed-in-the-wool lesbians, of course, in which case they're just like men without the penis). Hardly a win for diversity.
