I'm starting to get sick of this game since it's increasingly becoming a compilation of scenes without any story or meaning, I like the game but it's starting to bother me

It's never been story heavy, so I don't think anything has changed in the feel of the game. For me it's just getting better with each new dynamic it introduces.

I think Brodie has been VERY patient, waiting for Amber to introduce Chloe to the more intimate family dynamic. I don't even think Amber would be totally unhappy catching Parker spying on a Brodie/Chloe scene and inviting him to join her beside them.

I'm looking forward to more on that little path - I don't know if it's an official one yet in terms of flags, I can't see a flag beyond "liked Brody/MC/Chloe" but there's clearly the start of something. The way the game has gone so far, it seems completely implausible that there wouldn't be more! I'm sure I recall a small scene where Parker noted that he liked Chloe as well (or that they liked each other), but there's no flag for that I saw, so I could be misremembering it.

I'm imagining we'll get there at some point. I guess the stumbling block would be Brody and Parker, but the way they've been with others (including Brody with Dale and also his boss, and Parker with his annoying mate), I'm sure it wouldn't take much for them both to just shrug off the presence and involvement of their dad/son.

We've also got Brody's parents coming to visit soon by the sounds of it, and there appears to be some history there, at least with the dad towards Amber...

You trolling with this? Because this can't possibly be a serious gripe since this AVN has always been as you described, it hasn't changed into something else. Sure, you might get a nice meaningful moment like her first time with Parker, but for all intents and purposes this is basically a fuckfest AVN where Amber is having all sorts sexual encounters and experiences with relative ease, not really having to work too hard for it because everybody is horny and down to fuck. There hasn't ever really been any sort of serious narrative or plot playing out during this, it is basically just about her having lots of sex and that's how it's been since the start. I even noted this in my review as one of its biggest strongpoints:

the fact that this is not one of those all too typically grindy AVNs where the characters need to be built up towards doing things is its strongsuit, as is the fact that there really isn't much plot other than just seeing this gorgeous FMC live her best by having all manner of hot, steamy, uninhibited sex. AVNs with deep plots, complex characters, dramas and intrigues, are all well and good, but to quote Leonardo Da Vinci, "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication", and I think this AVN perfectly encapsulates that sentiment.

Why so defensive of an opinion? Of course, Her Desire has always been this way, but it is increasingly following the logic of porn movies plot, with there in no logic. Just like: let's fuck? Choices: yes and no.

Maybe it’s cause I play too many porn games and more devs seem to be going the slowburn blue balling route and too many patrons are trying to get devs of games that already have sex scenes in them to change to slowburn and I often fight with them too about it but I’m usually outnumbered

The first part answers the second part there - it's always been this way, it's not increasingly following any route, it's following the same route it started out following.

This isn't the same sort of game as those you compare it to though, it's not trying to be like them either. Not every game needs conflict, mystery, shocks and surprises, etc. This game, for me, is more what I'd call "slice of life", just with the level of sexiness turned right up. The story is in the relationships as Amber develops a closeness to (choices depending) her son, daughter, best friend, and others. The scenes are what drives that, and we don't need a missing person, or a drugs or prostitution ring sideplot to advance those relationships. Of course there are odd little things here and there (like the potential teacher blackmailing in order to help Chloe get her school recommendation), but mostly, the story is the breaking of barriers and the progression of those relationships, most of which is naturally told through sex scenes.

gggb, jessica o'neil, and even project myrian there is a deep plot in these AVNs, but a lot of sex scenes, a little bit of drama, comedy, and most importantly, the plot has a meaning, but don't go on the blue balls direction or theporn movie logic, but anyway, her desire is a great AVN, but like the champz said up there, the AVN is walking to a " compilation of scenes without any story or meaning " route.

Her Desire has a background story but unlike the other VN's you mentioned Her Desire FMC's story isn't about the option of putting the FMC in dangerous situations where she can be abused or molested. She is in control of what she does. Why should every every FMC in VN's face physical jeopardy or its not real? Male MC's don't have to abused or molested for it to be a good game. There are loads of successful popular VN's with storylines for male MC's that are light hearted, funny and just about sex with no consequences.

That's honestly the reason why I enjoy Her Desire more than its counterparts. Amber is absolutely in control of everything sexual that she goes through. Indeed, there's a plot of blackmail that you can immediately shut off if it's not up your alley, and even in that path she ends up having a train of thought in which she enjoys it without turning into a debauched nympho. I'm tired of games where the FMC is either a nun or fucks absolutely everything in her path, getting corrupted and going through blackmails, extorsions, cheating and forcing in the process. In here, you have an open woman that enjoys her sexuality with the utmost respect and fun.
I also appreciate A LOT the balance between lesbian and straight content. I usually enjoy more the lesbian content while playing as a FMC because female LIs are usually more respectful and almost never treat your character as a piece of meat. Thus, even if I'm missing almost half of the game while going for a strict lesbian route, there's plenty of content and action to enjoy your playthrough, and that speaks greatly about this game in that regard.

The problem isn't with the opinion of "I don't like easy fuckfest games with no plot", it's the fact that their opinion of "I don't like this" is based on them thinking it wasn't always like this when it was and acting as if the game is different now. They literally said, "increasingly becoming a compilation of scenes without any story or meaning", as if it started with a deep meaningful plot and now it doesn't have one but there never was a deep plot to begin with, it was always just "horny people have sex". They seem to be more annoyed at something that simply isn't true.

I've played so many AVNs with serious stories, I've played AVNs without serious stories, and sometimes it's nice to have some of the latter when you've played a lot of the former. Simple, easy gratification is no bad thing at times. At least this one isn't too overly gratuitous or stupid or extreme with how it does it. Some fuckfest games go really wild with it to the point of being cartoonish and the characters are often not worth really remembering or caring about. With this one though, I find the sex and indeed a lot of the character interactions to be much more thoughtful and well-written. They might just be a "compilation of scenes" but they're good scenes with good dialogue, good build-up, good execution, and you actually feel an excitement with them. They're much more on a level of "erotic novel" writing than your typical AVN fuckfest, and even if there isn't a major narrative playing out with them, it's still just nice (imo) to have something simple that also has good eroticism to it.
