I've been sitting in the thread scared to download this, because I'm afraid it won't be as amazing as the tags and original 2D art implies.

For the Future!! And Arvenia is considered a demon, so that might count as a "monster" and at the end of act 2 Fraunt(?) is seen in a new form so the tag might be representing that as well.

Damn. I hope dev keep making games like this, it's really good.
Every now and then you go digging in the rabbit hole of F95 and stumble across a gem like this.

This game is amazing so far, just finished chapter 2 today and I hope chapter 3 comes out eventually, I very much enjoyed the experience and will definitely come back to finish the game if/when it does release. Great work to SpiceMerchants, very well done.
