I believe there is a cooldown but tap any direction twice in a row. There's some balancing issues. The enemy AI is so friggin annoying starting at intermediate level. Parry stun time is way less than the enemy's version. And I still can't figure out how to roll away when downed like the AI can do.
Doesn't seem to work consistently. Not sure if its the stamina thing.I believe there is a cooldown but tap any direction twice in a row.

Thank you youWow dude
Well each point of health (red) is worth 10 pts of HP (green). So that 10% red health damage may not look a lot but its actually a lot. And strictly speaking Punish move didn't get intentionally heavily nerfed, they were only nerfed somewhat on lower health opponent. What happened was that there was a bug that cause punish grabs to do way more damage than intended and that bug got fixed.Yeah. Punish moves have been heavily nerfed in the recent updates. The way it works right now is that punishment moves only affect the permenant health bar. At roughly >50% health, it seems to reduce health at 1-2 point per animation cycle. However, at <50% it reduces to 1 point per every 2-3 cycles and at <35% it is one point per 4-5 cycles. So there isn't much point in using punishment moves.
You only get the long stun time when you fully deplete opponent stamina via parry. Character level actually matters a lot and you are gonna have a hard time when under leveled compared to the opponent. There's some balancing issues. The enemy AI is so friggin annoying starting at intermediate level. Parry stun time is way less than the enemy's version. And I still can't figure out how to roll away when downed like the AI can do.
Intermediate AI is super simple. The balancing issue is that you get cash faster than levels. You can buy an intermediate toon before you yourself are intermediate level. You body intermediate toons with an intermediate toon. So your main character gets replaced by someone 2-3 levels up in the progression(and often very good traits). Say i beat 1 intermediate, recruited her and she just became the new MC cause stats are better(her level ups were decent). You really can't lose an even level fight and even an up a tier fight unless your build is bad(happens early if you say got few special attacks and they got like 3-4 that are hard to play around). There's some balancing issues.
