That barely defines as "Adult", though I'd argue it doesn't whatsoever. Plenty of things intended for "all ages" contain references or homages to other things and jokes that would constitute as "political."

If this game was rated by official rating boards it almost sounds like it would get a Teen rating or Mature 17+ at most.

The very first few posts in that very thread are people noting that the game is non-erotic. Seems like a weird example of "non-erotic games being accepted" when the first few page is addressed towards this very topic.
Unless you mean to refer to the staff commenting on the non-erotic game and their stance.
I'm not quite sure that this game, as cute and fine as it looks, quite matches up to the #1 game by popularity on VNDB.

There's plenty of games that stand out as being odd to have on this site. Free games such as Katawa Shoujo seem odd to me personally, though extra publicity isn't really a bad thing. There's quite a few non sexual games that seem to be here mainly to be here beyond S;G.
I think it's fair, though, to say that it's uncommon, and that ideas for a non-sexual/sexual split are not bad. If anything, it should be something to be supported by fans of non-sexual adult content as a place to be able to share and discuss them without worrying about this type of discussion.

Katawa Shoujo is also, by design, an adult game by the barest definition of it actually having sex and nudity.

Frankly, if the No Sexual Content stuff that's been uploaded lately is categorized as "adult," then what ISN'T adult? My Little Pony has jokes in it that are intended for adults. Is that an adult show?

As always, a bunch of people whining about no-sexual-content on f95zone.
It's actually a pretty good game. I like the 'light' priestess in severe denial.
There's a big random fact quiz at a later point in the game that is a pain in the butt, though. About a dozen or more questions, you have to get them all right, and it doesn't even tell you which you got wrong. Nasty.
