It's funny coming back here once every now and then 
I knew of this game and played it in v0.1.0(? IDK, it has been too long), saw this thread and the promise about 'finishing chapter 1' so I just kinda put it on hold until then. The irony part is, that 'then' never came. I lost hope long ago, I just come here to see the OGs warning newbies and clapping the bots

I swear to god, il be an old man by the time this game finishes, if it even gets there.
5 years for a single chapter is kinda crazy to me... this chapter alone has got to be like 50 hours long at this point lmao.
It legit has been so long since the prologue came out that i cant remember a single thing about the story or characters lmao, and i was pretty invested back then. Please just release something dude ;(

Yep unfortunately thats how it looks. I had hope a couple years ago that he was almost out, but by now my hopes are completely gone.

Mood, this is pretty much the stance I've taken on the game in the last couple of years. I was a patron for years leading up to April of 23' and I finally saw the writing on the wall. I am very much happy to have made the correct decision on ending my membership at that point. Maybe some day he'll prove me and the rest of the "haters" wrong but I'm not holding my breath.
There might be "updates" on Discord but you can't even take the time to update your store page at least ONCE a year minimum, it's really not a good look if the games actually being worked on and not just a front to milk $3k+ a month from people.
Wild take here. I think Yandere Dev will finish before this game even sees any type of tease build, let alone a full release.

Yet he still keeps raking in that sweet, sweet patron money. And judging from the strays that wander into this topic regularly to defend him saying stuff like "he's working on it, I saw some JPGs/GIFs!" "oh but the Trello...!" that's not changing any time soon lol

I think you're confused. That is not Komi's doing or his fault. This is a malaicious third party attempting to hack you. Komi's grift is purely false promises that hes working on the game. He is not trying to steal your session key or put malware on your machine.
These are worlds apart in their level of bad. I wouldn't even compare Komi to the people that do that kind of shit.

So... I was just gonna ask how much content is in the game but read this last page and it sounds like a near-dead game... Is it even worth bothering or nah? It looks pretty neat from the previews but I dunno if it's worth it instead of just stumbling upon it again in the future if it ever does get completed/big content updates.
