Hey everyone,
Hope you’re all doing well.
Life’s been a bit hectic lately for both Dino and me, which naturally slowed development down more than we’d like. Between juggling life responsibilities, personal matters, and working on the game, it’s been a challenge to keep the momentum steady, but we keep on moving.
That said, we’ve got some news, and unfortunately, not the good kind. With all the BS happening lately between payment processors and Collective Shout pushing their censorship agenda, Steam ended up denying our build for Early Access. So as of right now, we won’t be able to release the game in EA, which really throws off the plans we’ve been setting up these past few months.
It’s definitely a hit for us, but honestly not a total surprise given the timing. We picked the worst moment to get our Steam page going, and with everything that’s been happening in this space, we half-expected this outcome. For now, don’t expect Steam to happen anytime soon. We’ll figure something out, but it’s going to take a little time.
That being said, wishlisting the game still helps us out a lot. If you haven’t already, please do, it boosts visibility and keeps things moving while we sort out the next step.
As for Episode Three, we’re starting to pick the pace back up. We just wrapped up a big sequence of scenes introducing the new crew "Iron Gal". It’s a full lineup of new characters (one of which you've already seen in the Steam teaser), and this section feels like a solid way to showcase their personalities right off the bat.
And as you might’ve noticed from the preview shot, Celeste is also going to be getting some development in this episode.
But yeah, overall, things are still business as usual. The goal hasn’t changed: we’d love to be able to work on this full-time someday, and we’ll keep grinding to earn that.
