I get where you're coming from, but it's not always that simple. Life happens—health issues, personal stuff, whatever—and sometimes a dev needs to step back. That doesn't mean they're ignoring their supporters on purpose. Communication is key, and if they can, they should update their backers, even if it's just a quick message. But devs are human, and things don't always go as planned. It doesn't always mean foul play; sometimes they might be dealing with something serious, like an injury or worse (that has happened to a dev before which is a rare case). I hope they resurface with an update explaining the silence. I like this game too (it' like waiting for Lust and Power or Friends in Need), but there are other games here to keep me busy while waiting. Hopefully, the dev is okay.Unless stuck himself or herself at hospital , dealing with health issues etc ... there is still no excuse for radio silence on a project where you solicit people to pay or donate. That's simply disrespectful , and in some cases (hoping this ain't one) a red flag and indication of foul play.
You wanna or have to take a break ? Fine , just text about it. Some people will get mad, but that's life. If you have any time to be on a computer or phone you can make a statement, even vague to your fans.
