You'll get that fake ID when you meet Harleigh and get her to Friendship = 30. That usually happens right around the end of Semester 2.

Hi Annie, I'm so sorry you're having this problem. Every so often we've gotten a person that encounters this bug, and we've never been able to reproduce it. We have to lock that first week down pretty tight to make sure all the events happen in the right sequence, but like I say, every so often. Were you staying up super late, or ran out of Energy or Fun, maybe? Do you have an earlier save game to go back to, like on Thursday or something?

That's really bizarre, as there are no classes on that day, of course. Three things: 1) I'm so sorry you're having an issue, 2) me and my Dev are taking (another) serious look at all this and scheming out solutions, 3) I'm pretty sure I could provide you with a Save Game file that would get you to Friday afternoon after work, with a couple Study Points in your pocket, and basically ready to proceed. Would that be useful to you?
Funny, cuz I had the exact same issue. There's no work icon, both doors in the office are locked, all other activities are blocked, because "it's my last day of work".

Two things: First, we're working on a build that will allow you to simply skip week one, and should that have available for beta-testing shortly.
Second, from the standpoint of trying to hunt down the bug, can you remember in your playthrough, did you 1) zero out your energy at any point? 2) Did you have a midnight snack with Ria? 3) Did you work out in the school gym? 4) Did you watch movies or play games on your laptop? We're just having a devil of a time trying to track this one down. It has to be an edge case of some sort, because only a small percentage of folks have a problem. I've played the intro dozens of times myself and never run into it. But I'm playing it with the knowledge that "Oh, yeah, I need to keep Energy and Fun above 20 for tomorrow's classes" and that sort of thing, and a new player may not do that. You may be playing computer games all night; I dunno. Anyway, any insights on how *you* played would be helpful. Thanks, and sorry again for the issue. We *are* trying to fix it.

With your phone. Maybe it's not strictly a kinetic novel, but say, rather, that the plot-line is essentially predetermined. If you want to choose not to raise a Girl's corruption, I guess, and not play her, that's up to you.

It should fire as soon as you walk in the door. Here's a save file that should put you at the end of that event and the one that follows (where you tour around downtown). If nothing else, it should get you over the hump, and let you keep playing. Sorry again for the hassles; we are trying to figure out what's going on.
