As I'm walkin' through this mentally, yes and no. There are several sort of back-story events where it's not. Ditto the friendship journey for one character that has another character seducing her. However, the one main repeatable event between the heroine and one of her school friends certainly is; it's entirely optional. There's not a lot of lesbian content overall, I'd have to say, although there are a number of MFF threesomes.

We don't have any cheat codes built in at the moment; that's something we're mulling for the future. You could tweak the game file, but that's strictly at your own risk.

We do, in fact! That story line takes a bit to develop, but Amara ends up with a very low-key, ironic BF who finds her whoring kind of amusing.

You could take a look at SlutEd, which also has a tutorial on the artstyle. Even if you don't like that particular style, you might find something useful.

First off, thanks for the link; I'll check that out!

Second, for the record, only 9 of the 24 planned girls are behind a paywall (37.5%), and 3 of the 12 (25%) that are currently (mostly) implemented. So, that's not even a quorum, and I'd say it's technically quite a bit less than "a ton," (and certainly far less than "a crap-ton"), but perhaps a bit more than "a few." "Around a third" is also accurate.

Third, as for the "not yet implemented features," actually most of the game functionality is done. So it's not "features," it's "content" we're talking about. For each repeatable event in the game, I write a set of what I call Variants, so you get some replay value. Typically 6-8 per event. Each girl has a camming event, and two flavors of escorting events (B/G and group) just to start. The first six girls have all of those done; the second set are in process. I hope to have all 12 of the first girls up and running within 3 releases. In the next release (1.1), our heroine will be doing escorting; her Slattern's buddies will be doing camming, and you'll meet the next six. That's already all locked and loaded, and we'll ship that in early July.

This kinda reminds me of Adventures of Tara, in that you have to balance studying with actually, you know, finding content to enjoy. I get why we have to do this in real life, but why we'd want to recreate that work-life-balance tension in a game is somewhat mystifying for me. "You should study a couple of times"-- ok, study 2x. And now it's midnight and I can't do anything except go to bed. Grrrrreat. I can hang out in real life if I want to not have enough time to have fun.

The art is not my thing, but I can live with that. Not that the style bothers me, it's just that Real Porn always results in super limited content-- either the images make no sense in the current context (wrong actress, wrong positions, etc) or the story has to be heavily streamlined to fit available assets. Haven't played enough of it to really say yet.

Main character seems likable enough. Plot is a bit of a hackneyed trope, but that's to be expected in this genre-- it's all about the execution of that trope, since the antagonists and a lot of the plot is almost a given.

Anyway, has some potential. Once somebody posts the password I'll give it a more serious look and decide if I want to pledge or not. Assuming the "full version"'s added content is any good (and if the "I am intimidated by lesbians" crowd doesn't scare the dev into reducing the g/g content and adding more dicks instead) I'll probably be interested.

I totally hear ya about not having enough time to have fun. Guess that's the difference between a 'game' and a 'novel', though: games require structure, goals, rules, and a challenge of some sort. Hence the need for Amara to study. Could be worse: you could be doing dailies in World of Warcraft. Without even the gratuitous T&A, no less... If you want less studying, feel free to save-scum and always take an Easy semester. I personally like the challenge of making enough money on Very Hard to stay in school, but then again I write an adult game for fun, so I may not be right in the head.

Absolutely a hackneyed trope. If you're gonna use real porn images, well, you're gonna be kinda limited in your plot line. Like I say in the disclaimer screen, the game's so-called narrative arc mostly revolves around creating flimsily plausible pretexts for the characters having sex. If I can deliver that in a way that's at least somewhat tongue-in-cheek and amusing, I'll feel I'm doing well.

Anyway, has some potential. Once somebody posts the password I'll give it a more serious look and decide if I want to pledge or not. I appreciate the kind words on the writing. I just prefer 2D is all: the challenges of working within the constraints of "Here's the picture set: what story can I tell from it" are what makes the writing interesting for me. I often don't know what the outcome of the writing is going to be until I sit down with the set... and then the creative process takes over. That's where the fun comes from, for me at least. Plus, 3D chicks have just never done it for me over a pic of an actual human. Everyone's different, tho: I get that.

We're pleased to announce the release of Version 1.1, which dramatically expands on v1.0. Amara now begins escorting on iFuq, her Slattern's besties start camming, and six new friends make their first appearance. Eventually Amara will also find a way to start sneaking out of school more safely, as well as sneaking into bars. All it takes is a little patience (and about a month's worth of game time). In total, you'll get a half dozen new story sex scenes, 64 new repeatable events, nearly 1,200 images, and several new Achieves to keep you busy until v1.2 (which is well-along now, too.)
