That's the room before Murasa, who gives you the skill to lift heavy blocks. You're supposed to throw the Blue Vajra (Boomerang-like item) to the left side where the switch is to deactivate the green blocks blocking the way.
You can see that switch by using the camera controls (it's pretty much the one time you're supposed to use them to find something).

Wait. You can shift the view so that you see that? I always only saw the green wall. Then I started throwing boomerangs and the other stuff into the wall until I randomly hit the button.

Modding WolfRPG games is way less common than RPGMaker games sadly. Personally, if I could do it, I'd mod the game just to edit the standing picture of Byakuren (and the Succubus I guess) to have thicker arms and slightly bigger hands, because they look distractingly small...

Incidentally, I tried a Bonus mode speedrun where I deliberately ignored both the sword in the tutorial AND the map (which means no teleporting to earlier areas) to see how far I'd get by only using the jump attack to damage enemies and sequence breaking all the bosses, and the answer is: REALLY far.
I got all the way to getting the "Summon motorcycle" sub-weapon, but I unfortunately found something horrible...you can't use sub-weapons if you don't have the sword! If I could, I'd 100% have beaten the game without it, but as it is, it's not feasible or practical to ignore the sword right now.
