Not necessarily. According to the F95 site definition, a harem is at least 3 potential LIs; it doesn't have to include even close to all the LIs possible. Given this, the tag should remain: it fulfills what the official F95 tag says. Also, you should be aware that this game is never meant to have lewd content with other guys be totally avoidable. So if you're looking for some kind of full-harem, everyone-drooling-over-the-MC's-dick kind of game, you should just move on. I can't imagine this will ever be that type of game.

I don't want to see anyone unhappy if it can be avoided. I suggest in the future that you read ALL the tags on search results instead of assuming that only the tag ya searched for is relevant. F95 has a thick pot of fun to draw from, I believe you'll be more satisfied with the result. I'm glad you were interested though!

Sure, there will always be someone who whines. I just see outsized representation with NTR, harem, and incest. I don't see it nearly as much with anal (though it's a lot), and practically never with pregnancy (despite what you've apparently seen). I don't remember ever seeing it with watersports (since you mention it), lactation, romance, exhibitionism, or voyeurism, however.

Things I see in the majority of threads almost every day:

• But there's actually incest, right? No? But why can't there be incest?
  • Someone makes (or proposes) and incest patch to cram a square dick in a round vagina
• The MC should have every single LI
  • Actual outrage that another woman breathes the same air as another man
  • Actual outrage when the MC is with more than one LI and they are bisexual and so have sex with each other too
• The MC should have a LI and watch [character] bang her hard in front of him, making her beg for more
  • Proposing the story get completely warped just to conform to netorare, changing even the base premise of the VN

I do see other stuff sometimes too, of course. Anal is moderately common from what I've seen, but I can go several days on this site and not see someone complaining it's not in a game. (That might be because practically every dev under the sun decides to have it in their games, though.) My own experience apparently differs a lot from yours. From what I've personally seen, complaints that the fetish is absent aren't even remotely as common with pregnancy, let alone a ton of others: rape, scat, necrophilia, bestiality, or any of those I listed above.

I far more often see a request for the content in those other cases, not what almost amounts to a demand for it. Like I said, your experience might be different, but I haven't seen the overrepresentation for anything other than incest, harem, and NTR.

So, my comment shouldn't be taken as literally as you are: I'm using hyperbole to point out how prevalent it is. By its very nature, hyperbole isn't supposed to show exactness, but to give an idea / impression of things.

I played the game for a bit, around mid Chapter 2, and decided I could share some feedback as the dev is here.

The game has an interesting setting and premise, for me personally. True sci-fi is few and far between, so I had to give it a try.

Unfortunately, I was massively confused right after the start. I'm a careful reader, and I read the intro text hoping it would give enough info to go right in. That wasn't the case.

So Many Questions

Right from the start there are so many questions. Who are the three girls? Sasa and the Space Vampire talk to the MC like they know him. At the same time his own replies doesn't really corroborate that. He has amnesia? With Hikari, it's the other way around: the MC explains something to her, so apparently he knows a bit about what's going on.

The problem here is because two things come together:
- The MC is confused with his situation
- The player has very little idea about the world

My suggestion here is to rethink the exposition. Basically make sure there are 3–5 core facts that the MC knows about, something like this:
1. He's a Guardia = high social status, warrior
2. He serves the Manykind
3. He saved Hikari after her mother told him to take care of her
...

Then make every surprise to the player be also a surprise for the MC, or explain it right away to make sure the player is never confused. I know this may be a massive thing, but I literally put the game down because I got so confused with all the stuff going on I lost interest — and had plenty of interest in the beginning!

Technobabble

Another problem is just how many new concepts are introduced. Maybe it's part of a larger series, IDK, but unless there is some "required reading" (e.g. everybody going to a Star Wars movie probably knows what the Force and a Jedi is), those concepts are better introduced one by one. I literally can't recall the names alone! The Meritocracy of Manykind gave way to the rule of humans (named what?). The Guardia (Guardias?) were fighting the Loci? (plural: Loci, singular: Locus?) The Vectors are the fighter spacecraft? But what is the Vector Space (apart from being a clever math pun)?

Again, all of this should probably stay in the story, it just doesn't have to be introduced all at once. And sorry but some of the concepts' names are borderline clever / cringe. Manykind is a pun on Mankind, which is kinda cool and just slightly awkward. The Guardia wants to be plural, "I'm a Guardia" sounds like there's an N missing. Shaoddaw (sorry if misspelt) looks exactly like a Shadow spelt creatively, but then the Captain hangs a lampshade over this and it just ruins it.

Spelling

I understand typos and mistakes may happen, but they are just way too numerous. From annoying ones like "you're / your" and "quite / quiet" to things that really hinder understanding. It took me several seconds to realize the phrase "What a waist!" wasn't a compliment but rather expressed disgust and should have read "What a waste!"

In this situation, I think it's crucial to set up a feedback channel. The game's Discord is currently readonly, but it's common to have either a single channel to report bugs and typos, or have them separate. I wouldn't mind reporting typos as I play if I knew these reports will be acted upon.


P.S. I see some people are criticizing the renders, I think the renders are completely fine. It's the text part which needs love IMO. I hope my feedback helps.

- I suggest you read the discord rules before you make broad statements, you clearly hit it, took 5 seconds to go "yup I'm better than this shit" and left. It's not read only, it's read only for Bots, for which you did not clear the basic basic baaaasic check for. Everyone complains about spelling/grammer (in a porn game...) but no one gives feedback.
- Giving a fat holier than though review having only looked at 2/5ths of something like this is frankly typical. Please finish it and come back.
- If you bothered to read the release notes, you'd know that this has been my first attempt at something like this and I refuse to be THAT guy who just reworks a project into the ground and never makes progress. Chapter one, sucks. I know. I was learning ren'py, and apparently, English.

I didn't mean to offend you, sorry. Let me make myself clear: I liked the game and suggested what, in my opinion, can be improved.

I was careful with reading the lines from the game itself. I didn't check the Discord careful enough, that's true. To be honest, I'm not a very proficient used of Discord, and I believe it's the first time I see the "react to get permissions" routine. I shouldn't have called myself "a careful reader", but you just went overboard with your retort.

I think focusing on making progress is a great choice. My point was about making a first impression. For the players to finish the game, they better have a great first impression, right?

As for the "porn game"... well, I may be the wrong audience for your game, then. I came for a story and a game first, and lewd pictures second. If that's truly your stance, that the story is just something to piece the images together, then sorry, I'll back off.

Again, as I said, I was really interested in the game and I wanted to give some feedback to hopefully help you make your game great, but that can only work if you are interested in such feedback. Again, if your stance is "take it as it is or get out", that's also your privilege as a creator.
