Sorry if someone answered this, but I had this happen to me as well and I think it must be a bug. I'm GUESSING here, but I think what happened was that the girl was set to breed with the last of a unit, and then you also made a squad with the unit, and the girl disappears with the unit but doesn't appear in the army.
I was playing on Easy but just messing around so I didn't really care, but eventually I had like 3 or 4 girls "out". At some point I started just mass deleting squads, and eventually, one by one, the girls suddenly reappeared in the dungeon.
The last one was Mona who was stuck to some unit that I couldn't find at all. Eventually I just deleted literally every squad I had, entirely, and eventually finally found her back in my base. But I basically had to delete every squad on the map to eventually find her.
I assume this has to be a bug, and idk if it can happen even if the girl isn't corrupted/wearing a mask (since she shouldn't be able to be in an army then).
Figured I'd post, forgot to mention it earlier, this post reminded me that I experienced the same in my easy playthrough, with several girls at once, and rescued them by deleting squads until they popped back up in my base. So, yea, dev, if that's useful at all.

Btw, little strategy for defeat Alice: put 4 hili squads in the main base, and after other 4 squads in the ruins right in front your base. The moment she attacks, your unit will make a pincer manouver, making resist her mortar attack easy. at that point, you need to get closer, but should be easy, because i noticed she ignores the shielded units most of the time, and targets only the samachurls.

I think there are plans for Nahida actually. The dev might use Rukkhadevata, which in genshin lore was a previous version of Nahida or something, and therefore in most depictions looks like Nahida. So there a grown version (because Nahida is young in genshin lore and would eventually grow into what Rukkhadevata looks like. I think) of Nahida can be used.

To the people wishing for a volume slider: Windows has a built in volume control. Just right-click on the volume symbol on the task bar and open volume mixer. Then move the slider down for the game and have whatever else you want audio for on your usual level.
With windows 11 the volume mixer is kind of shitty tbh. But you can get "EarTrumpet" which is an extension from the MicrosoftStore that does a better job with it.

there are a fair few more than this for genshin, but what i think they meant was specifically one with a breeding mechanic. this seems to be literally the only game that has genshin characters getting pregnant. and if they didn't mean that, then i did. fite me behind a mcdonald's in the parking lot, i main lucina in smash so i'll beat you easily.
as an aside, apart from this, goblin burrow, and demon fortress (i think it's called), are there any other games like this?
Power doesn't mean crud. You will regularly beat higher power characters with teams that max out at maybe 100 or 200. It's fairly normal and easily survivable provided you filled out on regular dudes.
By "demon fortress", do you mean "demon lord's treasure"?
I guess I should also name Goblin... Brothel and Project R.

alright, for the nth fucking time now i've tried to take over mondstadt using the most powerful units i have. literally the best units i can get at this time doing the most amount of damage i can possibly do.
so why, in the sweet loving fuck, can't i even damage them?
first the round starts off with venti shooting some wind at me, no hesitation, not even a blink. okay, i can deal. then jean comes sweeping in with those bullshit 150 power SHIELDED elite knights, and instantly smacks around some of my units, lowering their initiative so they can't do anything. okay, just weather it and then counter attack, i can do that.
then venti decides to shoot a big ass tornado at my team, sucking in the whole group FROM EVERY CORNER OF THE MAP, doing consistent, ridiculous damage to them. those that weren't shielded die fucking immediately, those that don't have their initiative lowered AGAIN, so they can't do anything that turn either.
then, of course, jean comes sweeping back in, doing one attack and hitting three seperate units, killing them all instantly.
i can't even do wave tactics because they're all. fucking' shielded. not a scratch on them, but my elite units reduced to atoms.
this. is. on. easy mode. did i forget to mention that?
to the game: what the fuck
to the game's creator: *inhale* what the fuck.
EDIT: oh, that's right, i forgot to mention the biggest bullshit of this all! even if i do, through some miracle hand-delivered by the angel gabriel himself, manage to do damage, THEY HEAL. WHY THE FUCK DO THEY HEAL ON EVERY. MOVE. THEY DO!?
