I can definitely understand that. She frustrates me as well. Like if I was put in MC's position, I'd have quit a long time ago. But to expect her to put out is the thing I don't quite understand.

Playing this recently (so I didn't have to wait long for this update) I think the progression is fine. I think we have to take into consideration that Charlotte has minimal contact with men since MC and maybe some photographers. Considering that, it makes sense that she hasn't tried to fix her issues regarding men.

Now she's ultimately fighting herself because of her daughter's safety. I understand her. I believe it won't be long till she realizes the MC isn't a horrible man.

Perhaps I'm too optimistic. As I know the people playing this game from the start might be a bit more impatient regarding that.

Ok,
So I am a fresh set of eyes here. I am a proof reader on a few AVN, and I have to say that the story here is engaging. What I am not seeing is much in the way of a path forward. Charlotte is TOO shut down. Lucy is TOO ready, and Emma is not an issue. I have zero sexual attraction to Emma, because of the story, I bought into the protector role and I likely will never breech that. Charlotte and Lucy on the other hand, I am attracted to. Both are age appropriate, but the path forward is very murky. If I want to be with Lucy, I can see that, but so far I have found nothing to suggest ADULT in the content. I prefer the elusive prey of Charlotte, and as a former security specialist, turned engineer, turned government drone, now retired, I think the qualms of the MC are well written. What I do not like is the absolute lack of something to pull me forward. I appreciate a good story, but for commercial success there needs to be some actual porn quality renders, and I have seen zero in every attempt to play. This is an unforgiving environment, and while I like the MC, there needs to be a pull to invest, to spend money to support the dev. It is not here. I offer my own writing as I spent 16 years in technical writing and editing for the US department of Homeland security so I have skill, my talent I am willing to audition. You guys need help... Just saying. Otherwise I wish you the best of luck

Fixed the naming issues, hopefully I got them all. This should help until the dev can get an actual fix.

Also if anyone is experiencing the

NameError: name 'aunt_choice_00' is not defined

Just open console and type in:

aunt_choice_00 = True

That will fix it.

Info: the variable "name1_yd" is not a fault, it was added (among other variables!) with version v0.5.1 at the beginning in "script.rpy" and defines the name "Miss Lloyd". These errors occur when loading an old save from v0.5 or older.

Funny. Because I started a new play thru when this one dropped. So, not sure why I got it, if it's due to using an old save.

When making my Mod I have only noticed one bug ([name_Aunt] instead of [name_aunt]), and in one scene I think the wrong person is saying a sentence.

Yeah. I fixed that one also and some variables that hadn't set in ep5 for some reason.

It's as if people don't understand trauma or post traumatic events. She came this close last update to being attacked again and people are busy wondering why she's not opening up to mc, like get a clue.

Unfortunately many people on this site are kind of jarred when VN's such as Hillside and others of course try to take realistic approaches to situations. Many people complaining like the MC has earned her trust for not perving on Emma for the first 2 weeks. Like he's done the bare minimum and should be rewarded?

So far the only thing that I feel bummed out is this release added heaps of stuff but it was all kinetic novel =( no gameplay anywhere
