I'm new here and patreon supporter of DB but is it normal for a dev to put out such lackluster content after 4 months in development? Just thinking of cancelling the sub, loved the game at the start but just seems weird to put out such pathetic updates after nearly half a year of excuses?

First, he had health problems. Second, I see great progress in the update, not as expected, but at least steps have been taken. From the beginning, the game seems to focus more on drama than sex scenes, and the story is great until the moment.

We did get the message he had cellulite but don't really see how that stops you from sitting at a computer and why set a date then? And go 2 and a half months over the deadline he set just to put out 20 mins of content?

So when do we expect this to finish, because I just realized I have no saves at the end of 0.8 so I am going to have to redo the whole story on account of the missing scenes.

I'm glad it seems that Emma is still not being considered an LI. She's just too naive, sweet and sheltered to be a good love interest for the MC. After the first release, when the bathroom scene had her be naked, I complained about it and it was changed. Since then, she's not being used an LI or even fap material. The clue is that scene with the bikini change at the end, where the Dev made sure to blur her out.

It's like a big red sign that says "Do not turn your attention here".

The update was nice and long, it gave a lot of story parts some long needed pushes.... but there were no choices. It was straight Kinetic. That's very disappointing. I'll be interested to see the missing scenes when the full version comes out, but I really do hope for next time we see more of it from the MC's point of view again, because far FAR too much of this update was shown from the 3rd person. At no point did I feel like I was the MC, I felt like I was watching this like I'd watch a TV show or movie.

I was hoping that the MC would solve Suzis issue and part of the deal was suzi would learn the trade from the MC after seeing that fight. That would be a nice dynamic to the story.

You realise actual humans don't think and act like this? Just by being raped/attacked once by a man, she's afraid to be near *all* men even if there is no sexuality involved (like employing a bodyguard). At the same time she's a model whose entire career revolves around looking sexy. Also decides for no reason that the only man in the world who won't attack her is the PC. And how is leaving your daughter alone with one rapist better than leaving her with several? What parent would even make that choice if they really believed it? Just admit it, she likes or hates men based on whether the porno logic needs her to.

And that's not even going into female bodyguards apparently not possible in this universe.

No, she wasnt raped/attacked once by A man, she was sexually harassed by almost every single man she encounters, raped (not succeedingly) by multiple men, AND greatly wounded by A man. Any human could've acted the same.
She almost crashed with the thought of hiring a male bodyguard for her daughter, the only thing kept her from withdrawing is her sister's relentless assurance and the love she has for her daughter so she believes that Emma needs the best protection.

Every time I see the same complaints, there are no sex scenes, the story is not realistic. There are game lovers who want to complete it, they want to know what happens next, maybe some of them want to have some scenes but they enjoy the story If you think it's boring or silly, I respect your opinion, but you don't have to write this every time in the game thread. You can find many games that match your style.

Not so much because of the relative lack of sexual content and choices (although I wouldn't mind more of those), but because of the story, compelling as it is. One of the sweetest girls you could find is bullied mercilessly from all sides (I wouldn't have minded if Suzi would have pulled an Edward Norton American History X curb-stomp on those bitches) and a woman brutally assaulted and beaten. There'd better be some pay-back for having to endure all that!

The hero works as a bodyguard for an eighteen-year-old girl. Her mother is the most famous model, who has a crisis of confidence with all men. The slow progression is logical and expected. The game focuses on drama and romance

It never even crossed my mind that it was the cop. For some reason i thought it was the guy who is messing with suzi. If you are right that is crazy.. We will see tho

I think it is two-folded ... the cop is payed by the actor/orHarry to stalk and divert the MC so that the actor can have his way finally with Charlotte. Mind you the case-files of the beating mysteriously disappeared from the police department ... a cop-job if you ask me. And Johno the paparazzi has somehow meddled in and blackmails Suzi with Harry´s help
