Hillside is meant to be just that. Sure the dev can still stir a little and change his opinion on a few things, but a 180 turn ? Chances are few to none.

Agreed -- when games DO make such huge changes, it often doesn't go over well. There was a game I was playing a year or so ago, that veered so far off track, the ensuing fan outcry led the creator to retcon an entire section as just a weird/bad dream the MC had. (Not sure that was a huge improvement, but then damage control is rarely perfect.)

I am a 1$ supporter for some games. And the main reason is not get the game quick (I know I can get it here faster for "free"). It's because I want to support the developement of the game and a (little) appreciation to the dev for doing it.

BaDIK is, IMHO, one of the most overrated games on this site.
Tastes and opinions vary and all have equal weight. It's not just numbers. DPC is incredibly successful. Gotta give him credit. McDonalds is incredibly successful. Gotta give them credit too. But just like McDonalds, volume or popularity doesn't equate to quality.

everyone just enjoys different stuff, i for one love BaDik, i think the quality is great and i enjoy the story of it too. what makes something over or under rated is up to each person its not something others need to agree with. Im not sure what quality you're talking about though because if its renders and animations im not sure how someone can think its not high.

I don't understand why the dev would set a date and always struggle to deliver. I mean, there's no need to stress himself and then postpone the date. I wish he just finished and post "tomorrow the update will be out", I think it would help health too!
