MC is not batman and is doing what dick and damien told batman to do - end the ones who want to see the world burn.
I must admit, I am a little confused by some of the plot points in the last chapter...

This VN is definitely getting more idiotic with each update. Jesus. Such Doctor Evil level shenanigans by the bad guys and absolutely moronic actions from the MC and Emma. I used to love this, but can't even recognize the game anymore.

Guess you are going with the let the world burn option on this, are you not?

Hooo boy - right about now's the time to ask is this ever really going to go anywhere or is the dev milking the patreons for all they're worth
Happens quite often lately.
Take a look at the initially successful games. There are only sporadic updates. Often it takes months and then it's just a few pictures and animations that could have been finished in a few days.

Those spots are even more abandoned than the people supposed to park there.
So much prottection and inclusion the emptiness is the thing that sticks with them.
And the moral of the story, kids:

Never, absolutely never park illegaly on a parking spot for disabled people!!!
The story is about a hell hole MC and his babes cannot seem to do anything but dig themselves deeper.

Well that's a mind fuck, Emma is gonna be traumatized forever.
And even Charlotte will probably go back to feeling uncomfortable.

So where was his gun? That scene made no sense.

IT totally makes sense in unarmed combat situation. Remember the VIP is there at arms reach for the
attacker and the attacker also confessed he wanted them all there to witness his murder.
They have no idea what the attacker is thinking, just like the saw movie, was there no way to kill the killer just because he was lying on his face gigling to himself?

I have to tell the truth, and I can't say I like the direction this game has taken so far. It feels like most of the drama is put there just for the sake of it and I can't put the "already seen elsewhere" feeling away. Also, let's not forget this should be a porn game in the first place. I'm very close to dropping it for good. Very disappointing.

I am quite surprised about all criticism about MC decision. I am very very rarely the one for violence but I can totally understand his reaction if someone he deeply deeply cares about is/can be in near future endangered.

And some other criticism, not even sure if unhappy people know what they want themselves

This is one of the few games with an interesting enough story that my brain doesn't go right to the "milking" argument. For the most part the game has been consistent thus far. I always ask myself if adult games can be more than smut - that there can be deep stories with some adult content. Do we not have a responsibility as a viewers to let people experiment, especially when done well? I think Hillside has delivered that thus far in a pretty tasteful way. We're clearly

next release, or another path if you picked it. I feel the build up has been pretty reasonable, just the length between updates is long.

I have no problem with the MC's decision to kill Carter. Primarily for the reason you point out and the fact that Carter's a cop and we have solid evidence that "justice" in Hillside is often pretty random for those who are connected. I'd be very reluctant to trust the "system" to put Carter away even with Zak's blood on his hands.

MC has the FBI contact, the knife has the Detective's prints, and it can be traced to him killing Zak and 2 witnesses corroborating that he was going to kill Emma he'll be fine.

Good cliffhanger though, and its totally justified that MC killed that scumbag to give a measure of peace for Emma and Charlotte

Nah the moral of the story is:
DON'T GRAB MY GIRL BY THE PUSSY OR YOU GET STABBED BITCH!!!

Plot Twist : Carter was Emma's Father, he got plastic surgery done so Charlie didn't recognise him. Poor man got his neck snap for protecting his kid from a douchebag, an irresponsible alcoholic mother and a wannabe daddy with issues:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
