Yeah, guys have already cleared it up, Emma is in college and is going to the university, so it looks like non-States education system.
Actually, I don't remember any direct mention of the country where this story takes place. So only the author can tell. But Joshy's point still stands: it's better to clarify such things before submitting the game to avoid any ambiguity. Cause even we're a slightly confused. Maybe a fictional country that resembles a mixture of the States and Europe.

When it comes to Emma's school. I think all that would need to be changed is to mention that Emma is transferring to a university from a college. As if I recall right Emma is about to turn 19 so could say she has been in college for a year already and decided to transfer to a better school. That way it seems less confusing if she was in college or high school.

Hey I read on the koga mod page that this game is getting a rework. Should I now consider this game in develpment hell and move on? From what I've seen few reworks get completed and the AVN gets abandoned.
I really hope that is not the case with Hillside.

I might be wrong but I swore I read that it was more going to be more on the lines to have suzi move back in the house earlier or something. So you can start on her path sooner, so just adding scenes mostly I think. Unless the dev replies won't know for sure. But if that is the case while technically I guess you can call it a rework but I wouldn't say it's a full on rework either.

Not sure if the next update is the rework or not.

It's not a complete rework, its a little tuning. It will come out soon or complete with next regulary update
