It is incumbent on us, as uninvolved spectators of the drama, to draw his attention to some facts, even if he does not want to hear or read it.
I can definitely imagine that Joshy can win Lucy over as a supporter for his “project”. I can certainly imagine Joshy92 being able to convince Charlotte that his intentions are honorable. As is well known, a mother's heart is always the largest. But what he doesn't consider in his wildest fantasies:
Emma wants a father and not a lover! Whether it's romantic or something else, it doesn't matter. As we have already worked out above, there is still the problem Suzy!!! And we just have to realize that he also has the makers of Hillside against him.

no not him the boy the cop had in the trunk and was going to frame. He made Emma cry in the last episode when he confessed to her and when he got denied he took it out on her

David is the boy who wrote her the love letter, who warned her about Zak, who got into a fight with Zak and got beaten up and then went to the police. He was in the trunk when Zak was killed and, as seen above, he is the one who confessed his love to her. But she didn't return his feelings.
Either it was the bitches Suzy beat up or Zak's friends

yeah I came to that realization after Joshy's comment . I just remembered how David made Emma cry after he got denied after his confession. Tho I did forget about the girls Suzy beat him I think it's more likely it was Zak's friends friends now since they blame Emma for Zak's death and I think they even called her a bitch behind her back I forget id have to replay that part.
