I agree that Charlotte would be a really really really bad choice in reality lol, she projects all kind of bad stuff on the MC

But thats not her fault, she had horrific experiences which shaped her like that, she really needs help, therapy and to work on her trauma but not a intimate relationship at this point. That should come later, after she healed a bit more.

In this story its of course different, we are carebear mc who is the perfect white knight full of self hate and guilt to be a nice doormat who can endure any kind of mental and emotional burdens, hardships or accusations for prolonged periods of time to make her happy soooo i think in this AVN for THIS specific MC Charlotte is the perfect LI :ROFLMAO::love:

With all his guilt, hes a bit like these catholics who belt themself to repent for their sins, hes a step above these guys, his punishment is at least very pretty

Charlotte and the MC were designed to need each other.

They both have baggage, and because of their circumstances and backstories, they’re forced to endure one another long enough to see what lies behind the walls.

Charlotte tried therapy, but it didn’t help her. Only the MC can help her heal by giving her the justice she was denied and by being there for her without ever asking for anything in return.

This is one of things that made me like Charlotte so much and made me realize I have a thing for LI with trauma as I really enjoy it when a MC can just be there for a LI like that without trying to fix them. It's common for people to say they want to / can fix them while I just want to be there for them and that's it.

It makes no sense to me that Charlotte gets so much hate. I wonder what they would do if they were going through what she's going through? :D :D :D

She's also the hottest MILF in any game I've ever played.:love::love:
I've never seen her get actual "hate" per se, here. But she can be frustrating to deal with. I feel incredibly sorry for what she had to go through but that still doesn't give her the right to project her trauma onto others and snap at them for trying to help.

It can get annoying that by the 73rd time the MC helps, protects or does anything nice for her she's still second guessing his intentions. Whether directly to his face or in her own head. Like a never ending purity test you'll never pass.

Imo the MC is a saint for putting up with her. I would have gone "Ok fuck it lady, you're on your own. Good luck!" a looooooong time ago

I don't hate, just have reason to put up with her bullshit on a personal level. Professionally? She's the Client, they're allowed to be damaged goods... just not allowed to get damaged any further.

I wonder what they would do if they were going through what she's going through? :D :D :D
Not by throw my baggage about willy-nilly...

Here we differ. I don't think she's attractive at all, so zero interest in breaking the client-bodyguard boundary. Every other LI is leagues beyond her, even the eldest daughter who at least has a fairly rapid change of heart, and while she may still resent/distrust/dislike the MC, she comes to respect him and stops treating him like her personal punching bag/baggage cart very quickly.

This is why even if I were to ever replay the play the game (very unlikely) I'd probably still be a Lucy man. She's just gorgeous, unencumbered, perfection.

HillsideVN made a banger here by offering four levels of main LIs wit different "difficulty" curves, and I thank ZOD he made the best one so great...

Did we play the same game? For me, mid-game in Suzi went ballistic on the MC the moment she saw him sitting (and maybe hugging?) with Emma - something Charlotte completely trusted him with by then. I even thought, "you rabid brat, I get not liking the MC, but disrespecting your mother's judgement this way is really shitty!" That was after he saved her from Johno, mind you.
Charlotte did regress a bit later when he killed the corrupt cop, but that's understandable in the circumstances, and she apologized soon enough. In general, Charlotte, with some advice from Lucy, understands that the MC doesn't deserve such treatment and makes an effort to change, while Suzi is always sure she's in the right.

Maybe not...

On double checking my last save, that was back in May '23, v0.13, so if Suzi has backslide into being an obnoxious jerkass again, I haven't seen it since she started to treat MC with half an ounce of respect after he stepped in and helped her. (I like to let updates pile up and then binge a bunch all at once.)
