Seriously though, if we can't have Charlotte and Lucy side by side then at least allow us to introduce Lucy to the guy in the bar so she can at least have someone to make her happy even if it isn't the main character. Seeing her sad just makes the game that much more difficult. Also given how caring the MC seems to be towards them all it seems like hurting any of them is not something that he plans to do.

Seeing her sad just makes the game that much more difficult. Also given how caring the MC seems to be towards them all it seems like hurting any of them is not something that he plans to do.

What matters, is how you handle them being hurt.
Each of Emma, Lucy & Suzi can take pleasure in seeing Charlotte happy.
Hopefully they can put aside the personal feeling of rejection (if that strong) for the pleasure of that.

Doesn't love Suzi, but cares about her because of who/how he is, also because of what she means to Charlotte & Emma.
Doesn't love Lucy, rejected her romantic advances, but cares about her.

See I don't think of it as an inevitable outcome, if anyone else was in his position surely they'd try to share the happiness around.

Ha ha ha, yeah & see how long you stay in a relationship when you tell your partner she's not enough to satisfy you, so she should share you with her sister & daughters.

I'm not seeing how caring about Lucy's feelings equates to that conclusion.
Her being hurt is not sitting well, sure. But giving her a pity fuck is not going to make it any better.
Cheating on her sister with her is not going to make it any better. It's just going to make her feel justifiably guilty.

Yours seems to be edging closer to a wish list scenario, or turning the MC into a disloyal, dishonest cheat, which is completely out of character.

Lucy will never accept to come second in the life of the man she loves, not after she has been through this all her life, and really by doing that you destroying your relationship with the two sisters. Charlotte will not accept to be with a man who cheating on her with her sister, nor will Lucy accept to be with MC While he is in a relationship with her sister
Lucy alone is enough for MC, and Charlotte is much more than enough, they are both amazing women and the best in their field so make your choice Because you can't have both
I prefer Charlotte, the Queen and Angel of Hillside, but Lucy is also a great woman, and I respect her, and I think she deserves to be with a man loves her and makes her feel special.

I agree, I don't think cheating on Charlotte with Lucy, after having rejected her, will cheer up her.
She has always fell like living in the shadow of her sister. And surly that sometimes, she will be jealous of Charlotte. But she also clearly love her sister. And she very well know the trusted issues Charlotte has with men.
So I really don't see Lucy accepting to cheat on her sister.

Anyway, I will never have to do that, as I'm on Lucy route.
I must admit I can't resist when I learn how she was always betrayed by men that only used her to approach her sister.
I want to play the good guy. And prove her a man can love her for what she is. Anyway she's clever, funny, and beautiful. Not the "perfect beauty" of a top model, but the real beauty of a real woman.
And I don't have plan to cheat on her.
I already turn down Kayla.
Now, I hope there is a way to being a true friend of Charlotte, but not in a romantic way. And that she will find someone faithful to her.
I will care of Suzy, like a daughter, not a LI.

Yep, quite agree.
But, to be fair, her lack of social skills & awareness is probably not helped by the situation with Charlotte. You can see her being particularly protective of Emma, so sheltering her.
That does not excuse her lack of critical thinking & perception.
But, maybe being sheltered is why she's still immature & unaware.

I think a lot of people here do not understand the capacity for humans to ignore or overlook "red flags", "warning signs", and all of that when they are really into someone. Particularly if they are young and it is the first "love" they have had.

I have seen both guys and girls in that situation straight up BLIND to the problems. They downplay, they rationalize, they do whatever to not see the bad.

Later on, they tend to be really mad at themselves for ignoring it but they only get there after it has all gone wrong. Then it is 50/50 on how they treat the people that tried to warn them. Half realize how good that person was and half can never forgive them because they would have to admit how bad their own part was in being blind.

Again I have seen it in both men and women but to be fair, many more men just wanted sex and it wasn't a big emotional thing so it had close to no impact whereas the women tend to be deeply hurt by it. So on balance it is a worse problem for women.

Since there is no harem path, I have 4 (although it appears I have to back up a few updates). One for each of them. If I had tot choose only one it would be Charlotte by a mile. Fortunately I have access to parallel realities and can choose each of them. Yes, on Emma's path, I don't consider her as anything other than an adult. I don't plan on taking advantage of her inexperience, but if she decides she has stopped seeing me as a surrogate father, why would I not treat her as an adult?

To be honest, I don't see a harem path possible at this point.
